The game will feature 27 leagues from 20 nations. 510 teams are accurately represented with correct kit and badges.
Surely the A-league would have to be one of those leagues. Right?

i'm pretty sure they said A-League was going to be included. I was just about to sell my PS2 also. I hope it comes on that

I hope they have it in there, i will defiently get it if they have the a-league in it, if not at least i can be sure the a-league will be in football manager

I was watching telly last night and i'm pretty sure I saw an ad for some sort of game, and the a league symbol came up at the end.

the pro evolution series is better than the fifa series but if fifa has a-league and pes does not then i will get fifa also

I agree that Pro evo is better. I read on the Fifa site that they are improving game to make it less arcade and more realistic. Ie. less - if I cross from deep left I magically always score a near post header- and more - If I pull the defenders out wide then if my striker makes the run i might go close.

rumours from the fifa 06 forum has it that a-league will be in it
surely it would have to be cos surely there aint 27 leagues that would have more demand plus licensing etc for authentic lineups would be so much cheaper for ea to buy than other leagues

On wikipedia there is a list of confirmed leagues that will be used in FIFA 07 and the A-League isn't on the list. The only new confirmed is the Turkish Super League. Also Ronaldinho and Wayne Rooney will again be on the cover. However, in the game you have the ability to create a new club.

The fifa '07 website now has the leagues and stadiums listed, and the a-league ain't one of them.

EA can go and get f***ed how could a-league not make the cut when fifa is one of the top selling games in aus and nz annually. it would of been so much easier than other leagues to gain access to and generally would of created much interest. To make matters worse cos they were trying to beat pro evo on to the shelves you have to manually download a patch with all the transfers that occured in august before the deadline closure cos they had already finished the game and were too f***ing lazy to change it for everyone

just got the game today best fifa game so far
on the 07 you can create your own club
all the club squads are updated with meggys and sonic at fc nurenberg

That is really disappointing that the HAL is not in the game.....
I wonder why though?
Perhaps there were some licensing issues - EA and the FFA couldn't come to an agreement perhaps?
