AND YOU THOUGHT A MARATHON WAS CRAZY!
I've already told some of you about this one but thought I'd better just put it out there for everybody. On the 6th of January, I will be running the Coastal Classic, a 12 Hour race held at Adcock Park every year. It starts at 7pm on the 6th and finishes at 7am on the 7th. I'll probably be at the Newcastle game the night before but not 100% on that yet. I'm scared of very few things but this does genuinely freak me out.
If anyone wants to cheer me on, you're more than welcome, could also use support crew or lap scorers, they're easy jobs. I'm planning to finish wearing my Mariners Jersey.
You guys were a tremendous support in my Marathon escapade in April, and I'm sure you will be for this as well, I know it will be an interesting night at the Scumcastle game the night before and I'll enjoy hearing "Omni, you're freaking insane" all night, but I won't have a big one that night, only bottled water and I supose a healthier dinner for me.

Yes, Alcohol is most certainly allowed, in fact some runners actually swear by Beer during runs, crazy idiots.

Dibs I'll be using Flat Coke in the small hours of the morning for many a sugar hit but I've heard the Carbo loading argument before.

vodka and redbull would certainly help. vodka to dull the pain/make you feel invincible, and the redbull obviously for placebo energy! As well as the slight fizz to burn your throat and make YOU FEEL ALIVE!!

Bakery, I am refering to the carbonated beverage, Coke. I'm actually 15 now, does that make any difference? No im kidding, i wouldnt attend anyway, ill probbly be alseep during those hours.
