by the way, in the 07 version, are you able to skip straight to the end of the game when your team is playing or do you have to watch that highlights thing? i found it annoying in the 05 version (haven't got the upgrades).
Way back, i used to have football manager 2001 (or 2000, im not sure) and you could go straight to the end of the game and it would just do auto subs and give you the final score. It was good for when you were a bit over it and just wanted results without having to watch the whole thing.

Just finished 1st season as the Mariners. Pre-Season cup win, A-League regular season win, A-League final series win and 2nd in the ACL group stage. Got rid of sully, brown and crawley. Bought Santalab, federci and currently searching for a good young ML and GK.

How much RAM do you really need for FM07? I looked at the box and it said 1G RAM, and as I only have 500M I thought it a bit risky to buy (and FM06 loads slow as it is - and it only requires 256M of RAM). If I get FM07 I may need to upgrade my RAM just to make it work OK.

I finished my first season yesterday (the A-League part anyway) PSC win, Australian Cup win, both over Melbourne, Premiership win, Grand Final win. Top four was CCM, NZK, NUJ, PG. I knocked off the Kiwis on penalties after a 0-0 in the final with almost my entire first team out injured in true Mariners style. Trotty was the keeper for the back end of my campaign and did well!

Yea tiger half my side ended up injured during the first and 2nd season. I got 4 people in the socceroos side after my 2nd season. I finished the 2nd season the other day, and won the League the grand final, pre season cup, australia cup and also the asian champions league.
I took a job at HSV in germany for the 3rd season, and have signed heffernan, Danny, Kwasnik and Sarkies, The last three are regulars in my starting side there as well. Heff is just a back up in that side.

I already have FM06 and was wondering if you are able to upgrade to FM07 and retain the current games and situations in your old FM06 games and just continue on using FM07? Or do you have to uninstall FM06, lose those games and start afresh with FM07? (I have some interesting things happening with the Swindon team I am managing in League Two England at the moment and would like to play that out to the end if I can.)

PSP Football Manager beats staring out the window between Central and Gosford.
It's a bit like the old champ manager games with text commentary only and the way you set up tactics. They have streamlined the player attributes into only about a third of what you normally have so it's easier to compare guys but sometimes it looks like there's not much different between lots of players. Basically the rest is like fm07 but with less fuss.

at the middle/end of season 1 i bought dylan macallister and adrain madasichi both aussie players and tried to re-sign players for season 2 but i have to wait till near the start of season 2 to re-sign the players due to tyhe squad limit also lyall gorman quit as chairman, ian keirnan replaced him and gave me 2.3 million dollars to spend in the transfer window
