Final poll from me for the season... Here are the finalists!  Row 1: Adelaide's Greg Owens, Central Coast's Danny Vukovic, Melbourne's Vince Lia, New Zealand's Che Bunce Row 2: Newcastle's Steve Eagleton, Perth's Simon Colosimo, Queensland's Marcus Wedau, Sydney's Ruben Zadkovich. [Images from each team's A-League website]. Spase Dilevski is a finalist too - by default. For the record, Massimo Murdocca got 3 points more than Spase, who actually got none. Which, if you listened to the QR podcasts, is quite amusing. Alright, let's see how this goes.  I've taken Vukovic out from the options in order to minimise any bias associated with 'home' players. I'll cumulate all votes once the polls finish. One vote on one forum = one vote on another forum. I did consider a percentage modified count, where I'd consider crowd numbers at matches, but as this isn't reflected in the forum participiation I've decided against it. Poll ends: 16th February 2007. |

It may encourage voting... if I switched to a percentage method, you guys would be giving Owens a hell of a vote... which I don't disagree with all that much... now, if only he'd stop giving away silly frees... |

Regardless of club wedau is the best looking of the lot however mariners have lots of guys better looking than that lot what about wilko , jedinak, Mc Master ,even tommy p is better than that lot

Only Wedau and Owens' devilish grin have polled so far.  Keep the work up, and I may yet vote for Vukovic on the MV forum to return the favor (I tossing up b/w Vukovic and Owens with his grin) |

Just for the record, Owens and Vukovic won. I used different methods in the end - if you're desperate to know what the methods were I can put up the link to the appropriate post in the blog. But I doubt you're interested.
