I know its a few days early, but England vs Australia in a practice match tonight ;D Go England!!!
There is a rumour going around that Kevin Pietersen hits the ball hard just like he banged Paris Hilton. So Micheal Clarke can keep his Lara Bingle ;D

So Micheal Clarke can keep his Lara Bingle ;D Mate, if Pietersen supposedly banged Paris Hilton he'd be more worried about genital herpes than a McGrath bouncer. The Cricket 'World Cup" is just another attempt by another sport to show it is a supposed world game. How many countries can trully say they have a national cricket side that can compete at this level? There's only one world game, and only one true World Cup. The rest are pale immitations.

I actually think that Pietersen is good for England in that he is flamboyant and not afraid to swing the bat around. Time will tell if he's as good as he says he is. I enjoy watching cricket when a decent match is on. I detest the 20/20 gimmick. The Cricket World Cup is not something I'm greatly interested in. Thrashing Kenya, Canada or Scotland by 150 runs does not make a good competition.

Scotland and Holland - great test playing nations. What a pathetic attempt to demonstrate that it is a World game. Pah, only RL is worse.
I actually do like cricket but dont kid us that it is a world game. There is only one of those.
Paris Hilton...............nurse, more Penicillin please

there are only 12 nations that play tests, 16 that play full one day internationals. all of these nations, barring the netherlands who are temporarily onthe one dayer list, are current or former empire/commonwealth nations. not a single country from non-anglophone africa, only one from south america (guyana is part of the west indies team), none from asia outside the subcontinent, none from the middle east and only one from continental europe. it's not a world game.
