played it yesterday at the launch and it is wiked even though trott is rated higher than danny and gumpy is the lowest rated player for the mariners

I'll be editing a few stats - they're never up to date as they are created on 6mths before the season starts, and based on the average of a lot of people's ratings (probably no-one with inside mariners knowledge); eg. how highly do you think Boogaard would have rated last June/July amongst the developers, compared to how he is going now at round 3?

Well I pre-ordered and paid for my copy and will be picking it up Thursday and coming home to play Mariners Manager mode.

I went into EB Games at Deepwater Plaza this afternoon and they have already released. Bought it for $70 on PS2.

I picked my pre-ordered copy up from there on tuesday. Looks awesome on PS3, but I think the controls are starting to get a bit out of hand. Just way too much stuff to try and remember how to do.

picked it up yesterday in the city and played for a while last night - the be a pro mode is awesome. created myself, played myself in the centre of midfield in a 3-5-2 and played a couple of games of a season. were unlucky to lose the first match 1-0 at home to adelaide but beat qld away 1-0 with me scoring a goal. so much fun, great game.
there are even things like mariners crowds singing a chant sounding a lot like 'lawrie mckinna's yellow army *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*'...

The be a pro mode is very cool with what they have planned for future games - XI v XI online.
Can you be a goalkeeper?

Anyone know of any major difference between game quality on PS3 vs. XB360?
If blue-ray DVD is the only real difference, not worth the $600 price jump imo - so am i missing something else?

its probably favourite fifa game so far not only because of the mariners but many reasons
