I rolled my ute on the freeway last night. Some how i got away without a signal scratch on me it was bizarre. Was doing 70ish kms in a roadwork(think it was temp 60k area) part of freeway near ourimbah northbound the car in front of me spun out randomly so i hit brakes to avoid it but the ute got into an out of control spin and was heading to the bushy bank when it then flipped over and slammed into the trees before eventually bouncing back on to its wheels. the chick from the car in front came and checked if i was OK soon as i said i was fine she took off she didn't want anything to do with hanging around for consequences. >:(so after talking to insurance mobs and waiting for hr i found out i would ov been better off slamming into her ::)as it would then be her fault however i avoided her car so its therefore my fault. Anywayz apart from the excess hurting my wallet i got no injury's . was long night.

It would have been her fault if u hit her, but since you didn't, it's your fault? WTF Anyway good to hear that you got away unhurt. So that's a road accident for O'Grady, and one for a Marinator. Hmm...

Geez, you are lucky you're okay. That's shocking that she left the scene. Even worse, your ute rolled 360 degrees! That would have been so scary.
Mick rolled his car once and it settled on the roof. Lucky he was wearing a seatbelt. He climbed out the window and just had a little bloody scratch on his ankle.

Eggy, you are one insane character.
Super glad to hear you're OK but I get the feeling it would take a lot more than that to hurt you.
Damn that bitch. I don't blame you for not thinking to get her rego number considering the circumstances.

That's awful Eggy - glad to hear you are OK You were better off not hitting the lady becuase you could have done a serious injury - collision accidents are far worse than roll accidents. As Honey Soy said I lost control of my car in the wet at Mangrove Mountain at a notorious corner. Was even speeding but had a pissy Excel and it hadn't rained for a while. Rolled my car missing a few large trees in the process and landed upside in a ditch with the motor still running. All I received was a scratch on my ankle that was underneath my pants and socks with no rips in my clothing. I still don't know how it got there. In my case I was happy to take my insurance money and run, but it really freaks you out.

There are a few bad bends up the Mangrove Mountain way, I rolled a tarago up thay way a few years ago, ended up with a few scratches from glass, but was really lucky I didn't have a passanger cause I don't know if they would have fared as well as there was a huge buckle in the roof right where they would have been sitting.

Great you're OK Eggy. That's the important thing It would have been her fault if u hit her, but since you didn't, it's your fault? WTF My son had a car pull out on his left without warning on him last year (blind corner, Fagans and Christie, Lisarow which we're all very careful with) and his evasive action to avoid slamming into the drivers door, caused him to lose it and hit a car coming the other way. No injuries but he's then "at fault", excess / repairs to his TPP insured car $$$. I found and rang the guy who pulled out, saying my sons actions when you didn't turn safely saved you injury, excess and a fine, would you consider out of decency contributing to our costs. The answer (basically)... GET F*%# ED (We know where he lives)

can't believe someone would watch a car roll, drive away, and not even offer you a lift home!... Well at least you'll have a cool story to tell.

Indeed that is bizarre, but the whole crash sounds quite spectacular. Glad to hear you're okay, its pretty lucky you werent seriously injured or even killed. Thats utter crud, how its your fault becuase you avoided her, she should have thanked you for not trashing her little shitbox. Apparently, before airbags, people involved in car crashes like that walked away without a scratch, but their internal organs exploded, or so ive been told.
