A-league will debut in FIFA 08!

On the topic of Pro Evo vs. FIFA, my opinion ...(after having limited exposure to Pro Evo, owning 3 versions of FIFA, but constantly being told about Pro Evo's "Superior Game-Play")... is that FIFA's edge has appeared to be the availability of clubs/players, and extra effort going into realistic animations. The effort going into animations contributes directly to poor gameplay. Eg. if the situation changes mid-manouvre, you can't change your player's direction or speed until that particular animation has finished running.

If you believe the FIFA propoganda, they claim to be dealing with this in 08 so you can string moves together or change your direction mid-trick. And supposedly they're trying to prevent players from doing stupid things like standing facing away from the ball as it rolls past.

If they really can fix all these things and include the A-league, maybe DJ will be the first of many converts

Iv played Pro Evo once. Played it for a whole weekend. Its dogcrap. Id rather play "sensible soccer" on playstation than that.

FIFA's edge is in licenses, players faces, and replays.

Pro Ev's is in gameplay, pace of game etc.

Im not too worried about licenses etc, and mainly play with national teams. As well as mainly play against opponents rather than solo. So licenses etc are not as important as i guess they may be playing solo club football.

Still, always a chance of hitting it up purely for the mariners. I wonder how much effort EA will put into the players looks etc for the a-league. Id guess minimal, but would like to be pleasantly surprised.
