It says in there that we 'kept up a unrelanting chant for the Mariners'........it only faltered for 1 moment, when the opposition goal was scored' - as far as I can remember that was only a very very brief moment, we were up singing again in seconds to try and get the boys back in the game!
Good job guys

Had to go steal it off somebody elses lawn because it doesn't get to my house til later this arvo ;D
Another big spread for the Mariners and Marinators. The real test will come between now and August, will the coverage keep up? We've got the word out but if it doesn't stay out people are just going to forget come A-League time.

I agree Wyoming Tiger, the target is to try and keep up at least some kind of coverage for the next couple of months. Fortunately, the local press seem to be on our side and happy to publish stuff about the Mariners and Marinators. Thats why I love the idea of MM's about having a 'launch' for the marinators merchandise/website/logo etc

So froggy you're not as dumb as you look just kidding mate, and that really is a top idea. at the moment im free basically any sunday afternoon so ill leave it up to others to decide when we want to go exactly. Fridays depend more on my indoor soccer draw. I think someone needs to just put their foot down and throw a date on a few things, like launch night (this may depend on how the website is coming along), one of these friday nights for pluim park and a sunday for ice hockey, just so we can have a bit of a calendar and some structure to what we are doing. I probably have the most free time out of anyone so I dont want to do it in case I'm putting people out, I'd rather someone like Mick who seems busy all the time to set dates that suit them.

The Rhinos are coming last......supporting them may boost their fortunes, or their lack of ability may become a curse

Come n mick or froggy, tell us where 2 be, and when. Im sure i can talk Juzinator and Woginator into coming (they both basicly live at my house over the weekends) Pluim on a friday, or a 1st grade game on sunday arvo would be great. U be the judge.

I personally think we would be better of keeping to the ice hockey. If we went to a first grade game on sunday, say wyoming, who's gonna come along supporting with us wearing yellow if they play/support say Gosford, or Umina etc? At least at the Hockey, ( or similar) we are one voice and all in unison cheering the one team ( Rhinos!)

How does Sun June 12 5:00pm Erina Iceworld 41 Central Coast v Canberra sound to everyone? Maybe few drinks at the Woody prior?

good for me! dunno if drinking is needed. the goal is about bringing more good publicity to the marinators. i envisage us mingling with the people there, telling them what we are all about, maybe handing out the address to this site. maybe getting up a few chants for the rhinos, but not quite the beer shower atmosphere of bay 16.
what do people think about this? and who is in!?
