Spot on Sailor you know the Navy and all those lonley nights at sea. So what about The Albatross & the Marinators can become The Albatrossities Yeh, your probably right, It's just that it brings back memories of the defunct Super league team.

Well, if enuf pirates turn up, the tractor will drag a cannon to the next game. I believe the resounding boom will provide fitting punctuation to the many marinator chants that get tossed about.
Please note, with no actual way to secure the cannon, it would be best if supporters stand to the sides when firing, as it may well end up in the Leagues club foyeur with kick back and all.
And dont worry, I have fired one before........ ;D

Fear not, rotation of the cannon will allow the first ball to be fired at the leagues club. no more guards, free entry for all via gaping hole in wall.

We're not Pirates....I don't think that there is an identity crisis at all here! I'm sure everyone is absolutely fine with 'Marinators', we're just looking for something that identifies us as marinators. The skull n bones (theme) seemed to work really well. I was thinking of the eventual colour scheme of the Mariners and what colour the marinators would eventually end up with, which got me thinking...can we not keep with the yellow permanently, regardless of the mariners strip? It stands out in ANY crowd (regardless of what sporting event we 'invade'...which is why all the spectators at the stadium saw us so easily!) If we end up with a blue t shirt, we will look like 'blings'...etc. Don't think any one else (supporters groups) will be in yellow?
