Hi, Michael.
Thank you for meeting with us today. As discussed here are the following to help kick start the Clubs relationship with your supporters group.
1. The Kendall Bar to be your area prematch on May 7th. Open from 3.00pm as a private function area until 5pm. All efforts to be made to ensure the Kendall Bar is your meeting place for future matches and special occasions.
2. ‘MARINERS 50 FIRST’ t-shirts to be supplied by CCLC for supporters club for first game in August.
3. Organising of all Mariners away games and international games where available to be shown for supporters club in special area with bar service. Again Kendall bar is first choice.
4. Two champagne baskets to pass to you for raffle amongst your group, future prizes to be advised.
5. A ‘fight club’ system to be set up at a future date where hot dogs and beer is complimentary to your supporters group on the exact same lines as ‘The Fight Club’ membership.
On the 7th May we will facilitate in helping your group to become CCLC members. This will let them take advantage of members Club discount on drinks which can be a saving of up to 40c+ per drink. As well as all other bonus offers ect.
I’m afraid getting the supporters name printed on our Club membership card is not an option at the moment. We are looking at other ideas.
We will also be getting clearance if possible to show classic matches during your stay. I will keep you informed of results.
Michael please let me know if there is any thing we can help you with. Also keep me informed of how you are progressing. If you could give me a rough estimate of numbers closer to the date for staffing purposes it would be great.
Thanks again, Pleasure to meet you.

I met with Charles and Mark Andeson from the club. Charles is a pom and both have a long football history.
What do people think?
It will have the cheapest beer and an excellent place to watch away games. Also across the road from the stadium.

Well done Mick! Hi, Michael. 1. The Kendall Bar to be your area prematch on May 7th. Open from 3.00pm as a private function area until 5pm. All efforts to be made to ensure the Kendall Bar is your meeting place for future matches and special occasions. Minor problem is the early game (Sydney FC vs Roar) apparently now starts at 3:45pm - so those who want to see both games won't get much time there! There are some problems with the timing of the games - I'll try to get exact times out of FFA! What is the Kendall bar like? Nice. Need to consider how we'd use them. Excellent!!!!! This sort of thing (like the shirts) takes some semi-formal structure - how are we going to do this? Perhaps those of us at the Anzac Day trial game vs Blacktown can have a talk about that. Anyone know what this is? Good idea. That won't be easy to say! All in all a great development! Some further questions - will the club be lax on clothing rules - eg. Footy shirts, shorts, etc. Parra Leagues wouldn't let the Power fans in with club shirts on! - we have some fans U18, can they come into the fans area accompanied by adults?

Kendall Bar is the best option because it is like a pub inside a club. They did it up to look like an Irish Pub.
Those champagne baskets could be used for us to give to players as "player of the match awards".
We might be able to break down the basket from the club and get a regular prize to hand to the players at the post-match function.
The fight club system is that each member has their own leagues club membership card with their branding. They organise "fight nights" and the club gives them vouchers for a free drink and hot dog.
I've emailed Charles with your questions.

All sounds very interesting and promising, will be interesting to see how it all unfolds P.S Unless missing the obvious, can't figure out the suggested t-shirt slogan other than the first A-League home game

Mick, presumably the supporters drinking times at the club would be changed.
5.30-7.30 would be good providing supporters are allowed out of the ground.

Oh please don't, the atmosphere at the stadium will really suffer without the marinators there! Though I am sure Hoops and Sacko will make up for the rest of you that decide to stay at the Leagues club.

Leagues Club got back to me just then - jerseys and shorts ok - obviously not footie shorts - under 18s not allowed in kendell bar but will be allowed in the section near the bistro where there are chairs and electronic games

I'd go, just warning you all though that I'm a non-drinker. I'm looking foward to it all. It's good to see that CCLC are keen to get involved with the mariners & the supporters.

Hi guys. Thanks for the positve feed back. I am trying to organise some autographed items for the day, footballs ,jersys ect for you guys. As well as getting the Kendall Bar decked out in Mariners gear. A question. Is opening at 3.00pm early enough? If you really have the legs I just got clearence for footy shorts to be allowed. I'll see you guys on the day. i'll be the 'pratt' in the suit. Parking on the day is members only, but any onedriving to the match on the day, let them know you are attending the private mariners function. We will need to make you members for easy acces for future games. Again thanks to Mick for all his efforts. we hope to give him all the support he needs.

We will need to make you members for easy acces for future games. Again thanks to Mick for all his efforts. we hope to give him all the support he needs. Charles Central Coast Leagues Club Just got off the phone to Charles and I am proposing the following arrangements: - Henry Kendall Bar from 2pm. Charles said the club will open the bar at this time. I will be selling shirts there from 2pm - Those wanting to go to the Sydney game can head off and those wanting to stay can - Back to the Leagues Club Kendall Bar after the game to celebrate our first victory. He tells me it is open till 2pm. Of course responsible service of alcohol rules apply and overly intoxicated people will not be allowed in. Also, all day there is a security guard at the Leagues Club car park checking membership. You can park there if you are a member. If you are not a member the code word is "Marinators" and that will get you parked. A gesture for the club doing this I am asking that when you park you immediately join as a member. It costs you $4.40 and you get a voucher book that entitles you to two free middies at the Kendall Bar - pretty cheap for two beers and parking! I wish to formally acknowledge the Leagues Club for their support. Charles tells me that we have the full support of the General Manager. Also thank you Charles for everything you have done to accomodate us.
