I gotta say that I couldn't get to the Marinators Den (Kendall bar) till 6pm and although I missed most of the action, the first thing I heard the barman say to his work collegue who had obviously just started his shift was "This has been an awsome day mate, I opened up this bar at 1pm and these guys have been unreal..." So a big well done to all Marinators who were there and it was great to meet some of you!

Thanks Trent and thanks to all of you who made it worth while. Wednesdays game for the victorious Mariners supporters we are going to use the Sports Bar, which we usualy close early, from 5pm. I will have the basket for Mick to rafflre on the night. Who won the Jersey? I also have someones pet yellow poodle(wig) if you want to pick it up on Wednesday night. We are trying to get the classic matches shown prematch, I have also asked Ben from the Mariners if they have and could we show Saturdays game. It's only an outside chance. Thanks again lads.

There we have it boys, Wednesday night 5pm start.
Will many of you make it for 5pm or mostly just for kickoff? Will many be coming back after the game to celebrate again?
Thanks again charles. All I could see you do for the first hour or so was run around organising everyone, I hope you found the time later to sit down and take it all in. ;D

OK we're on, and deservedly so. Kendall Bar will be open from 1.00pm Sunday. I have been promised a copy of last nights game to show on the day. Ben is working on getting me some giveaways, as are we at the Club. Should have some sort of list tommorow. I do know a couple of baskets plus a couple of footballs are on that list to start. Mick will recieve items to raffle as usual. Did you want the man of the match award again, as it's a final? The Club is really busy that day as there are three other big happenings on in the Club It will be members only from 9.00am. I am open to any suggestions(that doesen't hurt of course) To make it an even more enjoyable than the last. Charles CCLC

So everyone who hasn't become a member yet, get yourself in there before Sunday and sign up. Remember it takes less than 5 minutes and costs only $4.40. I have a suggestion, to really get people into the colour and fun of the day we could run a best dressed fan comp. When we head back to the leaguesy after the match a few of the top contenders could be pulled out and voted on by a good ole cheerometer from everyone else. This person could win something else from the club or even just one of the balls instead of raffling them all.
