Hey all Queenslands first Mariners supporter... but I can't back that up ;D
Anyways guys wanted to put in a shameless plug for the Mariners Queensland supporters club so far we have two members and really hoping to build on this so that we can be in full voice when we take on the Queensland Squeak up here at Suncorp.
I am sure it would be nice for travelling Mariners fans to have a group of friendly supporters to sit amongst up here too.
So if you yourself are a Queenslander, or know of someone who lives in Queensland who supports the Mariners then urge them to contact me.

What made you decide to support the Mariners? Are you from down here or just dont like the team up there? I wouldnt blame you.
Early indications suggest that a fair few of us are keen on making the trip up, it's great to know that we'll have a local contact to welcome us and show us around.

Marinator Mick: Will do both! Have to get back to me about either Backpackers or High Class accomodation... And trust me there are plenty of appropriate drinking holes up here, trouble will be getting me out of them ;D
Wyoming Tiger: Both, originally from Albury, NSW... lived in Lake Mac for a bit, also don't like the QLD sqeauk

Take that Bling FC you guys don't have a supporters club branch! Great to read that we have 'branches' in Qld as well as Lake Macquarie, and Sydney! Spread the word to other centres! As a Lake Macquarie branch member, good to see Duff supporting the best Club and not the Zits (sorry Jets), Bling, or the Meows. If anyone needs tips for an overnighter in Newcastle for the match against the Zits, get in touch. Although being less than an hour away (for the Gosford Branch at least), that's unlikely. ;D |

Formerly from Gossy high (97) in Centy Coast i live now in cane toad country west of Brisbane. I will definately attend any marinators away games in QLD or any local marinator fan events (even got Grunta to send me up a supporters shirt to wear - it is great PR for the mariners as people always ask me about he club when i waer it).
Oh and my DUFFMAN quote: DUFFMAN IS THRUSTING IN THE DIRECTION OF THE PROBLEM!
