Blue Haven Rhinos V Sydney Bears
Last Sunday 12 June the Blue Haven Rhinos went down 3-2 to the Sydney Bears in front of a loud and enthusiastic home crowd at the Erina Ice World, Erina Fair.

Last Sunday 12 June the Blue Haven Rhinos went down 3-2 to the Sydney Bears in front of a loud and enthusiastic home crowd at the Erina Ice World, Erina Fair. Thanks to our newest supporters "The Marinators" the official cheer squad of the Coasts other National sporting team the Central Coast Mariners (Soccer) a revved home crowd kept the Rhinos going until the game went into overtime. The Rhinos kept out the Bears and unable to get to the net, the final goal was scored by the Sydney Bears in the remaining 40 seconds. The fantastic home crowd cheered the Rhinos as they left the ice and the noise reverberating out of the stands was amazing. Those of you who haven't been able to get to a home game must do so if only for the wonderful acoustics Erina Ice World offers its patrons.

Goals in this fast paced and intense game were scored by import #33 Dusan Halloun assisted by Rhinos Super Swede #15 Tobias (Toby) Naslund. The Rhinos second goal also scored in the second stanza by # 22 Nick Cleland assisted by champion young player #3 Scott Stephenson put the game into a tie. Number 21 Murray Wand the Captain of the Sydney Bears scored the final goal in overtime winning the match for his team.

Thanks Rhinos, you 'avent seen the last of us!

I went to a game last night, definatley need to take more and louder friends however they did actually get excited last night. The Rhinos got their first ever regular time win beating the ice tards 5:3 (I think that was the score)

It's more a Marinators identity thing was the reason, I think the judgement they sent down was a tad hasty and was related to people who said they'd come and didn't show to the game they went to (my game was seperate just a follow up to this thread).

Part of the Mariners/Marinators is supporting the Central Coast and the Ice Hockey team is a part of that, by going to that we showed the coast we weren't just elitist dickheads who only care about The Mariners and we're not hooligans.

went to canberra vs brisbane last weekend in Canberra. Top sport to watch live I must say. That game had 3 all in brawls, a full sin bin for the majority of the match and all sort of good hits. Loved it
