In my 'research' mode, I noticed that the Mariners site (in the 'Gallery' section) now has 'Wallpaper' avail.
There's a beauty of Froggy there in all his glory!

Never mind how wide it is ;)I was wondering if it is a suitable place to bring a 12 y.o girl to her first real football match or are there more suitable area's for kids, is the language that bad  I'm sure she'd love the atmosphere though! |

If you want her to experience the atmosphere then Bay 16 will give her that, but there is swearing and if you don't want her to hear that then I would recommend another area. Personally, I say it's part of a football match and as long as your kids know that whatever they hear they can't repeat or there will be trouble then thats fine. Being a pom I went to football games with the old man from 4 or 5 years old, and I knew that if I went home and told my mum to f*** off I would be in trouble!

If you didn't want here to hear the swearing you'd be better off under the cover, apart from that the atmosphere is definatley Bay 16. There is swearing throughout the stadium though, some of the guys on half way have a mouth on them too.

Chelsea, my 13yo sons tell me they hear LOTS worse at school (gotta love the education system!)
A lot of their female friends sat in bay 17 and surrounds (close enough to catch the atmosphere, but far enough not to be associated with us.hahahah)
Gotta be a personal call though. Give it a try, if you don't like it....move further away. But come and say G'day!

Thanks for the advice DJ, Omni and Lou Macari.looks like I'll take a chance on bay 16, we'll be there for a sample on 23rd July. I can't wait and DJ I'll have to watch myself with the F word it's second language to me (being Scottish)  and she is not my kid so I need to be on my best behaviour :)I will introduce myself if I get the chance. |

Sorry but compared to Froggys farts I am a jedi master and he is nothing but a young apprentice! I'm sure Mrs DJ will agree with me after more than 1 occaision having to run to the bathroom feeling rather unwell!
