Nice work Celery. I think some have their hearts set on using the mariners strip though! Whatever we have, its gotta be yellow doesn't it? surely.

I dont know about the playing strip but that has to be our motto.Red hot Celery. Thanks guys. It was not meant to be a serious suggestion. Just too much free time on my hands (my work is on 'code lockdown' - no computer coding until after tax time), and I was thinking of ways to combine the footbal side of things with the pirate theme, hence the 'ball and bones' image. Of course, the yellow\blue version would look like: www.users.tpg.com.au/lesuth/images/Marinators/TShirt2.jpgThe Marinators is the right strip for the match as long as it is the genuine article.

Well I'll tell you what...if we don't manage to swing the mariners genuine article, I'm all for getting 20 of those little beauties! Imagine...20 only, wow, what a collectors piece! We could even put on the back 'Marinators charity shield 2005'

Celery! What a stroke of genius! I'll echo Lou's sentiments.
A more than worthy alternative.

Who wants that stupid blue shirt anyway! The only reason I'd think of is to sell it back to them at an inflated cost Would we number our shirts?

as far as numbering the shirts, if it's official (lets wait and see what the mariners say on that) we have to have numbers, otherwise we dont need to. But of course if we manage to secure the mariners shirts, they already have numbers.

I remember school days back in England, shirts vs skins! f*** I hated being skins in winter!
So if Froggy is Coach, does that mean he has a golf swing like Fergie? or is that chalk and cheese too?

If we're doing numbers we could get our own numbers on them or would we just do the boring 1-20 thing. I think I'd have to be Sully, even though I'm not playing that position

Enter the grammar nazi - of course that will be a question not an exclaimation, I think they would appreciate it if we at least gave them that option.
