Promoting the 'Marinators Charity Shield' day

WT's experience down at Wyoming's Alan Davidson oval gave me an idea.

How about if we get some flyers done and hit the various grounds on a Weekend.
Now that we have some funds, some of them could be used for copying costs?
I rekon 1000 per ground ( 500 handed out on sat and 500 on sunday?)

Take a page out of the McDonalds marketing handbook and target the kids, they all know about the Mariners (not to mention Marinators!) and they can't get there on their own, mum & dad have to drive em there!

I'll volunteer to do Gosford's home ground, I'm sure WT would have wyoming covered...

Tell em theres bbq, Mariners players?(fingers x'd)
maybe the radio stns mobile cars?
Mick, do you know what the go is with one of the radio stns broadcasting from the match for a couple hours?

As far as what we would have there, a campaign like this would be best around a week before the match and the morning of the match at junior games. By then we would know exactly what will be there and what will be happening for the day, so we could put a really positive attractive package together hopefully.

Hitting the local clubs is definitely the way to go to get people to this match.

Get everything (excepting incidentals) in stone before you do this kind of think, hit the juniors the week before AND day of, they'll need notice as well.

Absolutely, need to have any 'special attractions' (not to mention venue!) locked, loaded and ready to go before we print for sure.
