I know that Mick, Kevrenor and Mr Celery were very much behind starting the Marinators and were involved with the Rowdies...of the 300 odd that were in your bay in the game against us, how many were ex rowdies? How many on this forum are ex-rowdies? Just curious...

There are a few more we are working on. Remember, the Rowdies aren't a huge group, and were and are fluid - BUT It aint the quantity, its the quality!!!!! A handful have kept the whole Sydney Olympic crowd struggling to match us!

A handful have kept the whole Sydney Olympic crowd struggling to match us! Spot on Kevrenor! It was amazing to witness what a small core group can do to galvanise a much larger group of vocal supporters. Does not take many, and the rest come along for the ride, either identifying themselves as part of the core, or just joining in for the fun of it. Speaking of Rowdies, core Rowdies supporter Big Simon popped in to my place today. He now lives in Sydney. He joined me at the Bling v Mariners match at my invitation. I was hoping to convert him to the cause. He told me today he plans to buy a Bling season ticket. - Aaaaaarrrrgggggggghhhhh!!!!!!! Never one to pull punches, Simon said that the Marinators were impressive in numbers and colour, but in need of a bit of polish in the vocal department! Early days, I told him.
