Marinermick and his wife have booked an overseas trip on the weekend.
3 months in South Africa, Europe and North America.
Will be missing a big chunk of the Mariners season but hey - has to be done.
Will hopefully get a couple in EPL and Serie A games in.

He was just saying farina has to go and that a majority of the players werent up to it.really negative and Orsati sat there with a rediculous smile on his face when the panel was debating whether farina should go.Paul Wade was very supportive of the players, well except the defence but i think we all agree they were ordinary.

Orsatti is a smug so and so, with a transparent agenda to get rid of Frank. John O'Neill also wants rid of Farina; he wants someone like Houllier.
Australia will NEVER be competitive without a ruthless back 4. We can score alright (Aloisi, Cahill, etc) but what's the point when we leak goals ALL the time. Can you imagine us rocking into Montevideo, Ansucion, La Paz or Quito with our current set-up? Add travel and possibly altitude and we're dead-set sitting ducks.
We need an international defence that scare the daylights out of the opposition (think AC Milan in the 90's or 4 clones of Jaap Stam!!) and score from the set pieces. Otherwise, we might as well NOT turn up in South America for the first or second leg.
Sounds like a great trip MM, and when it's NYE at CC Stadium, it'll be 3pm in Amsterdam; you might be awake!! We'll miss you in the "Sea of Yellow", though.

Funny you say that auburn Paul Wade was saying we need someone like Charlie Yankos which at the time I thought was rediculous but when you look at the goals we conceded they lacked a solid leader at the back to yell at blokes to chase before it was to late.At the end of the day you can score as many as you like but if you cant stop them from scoring whats the point.
