mick, you f**king shit stirrer.....I love it! ;D hahahahahahaha Mick, thanks for that. I haven't laughed so much for a long time! ;D ;D ;D As an ex-Newcastle fan it was both painful and embarrasing to see how low the Newcastle fan base has sunk. Not knocking those trying to get something going, but what a debacle, and evidenced by their version of the Marinators site: www.geocities.com/sayers_thomo/nufcfans3.html. They can't even spell 'celery' correctly! They're even dragging in a certain Ross Grieg, who was an original Rowdie, but the only one to defect to the Uknighted setup, and who persisted in singing Knights Thuggery League chants even in the Breakers days. As for being ordered by the Club to adopt a name, wear silly hats, be roped off, and attend singing rehersals (no doubt to educate them into non-swearing songs), and stand in a non-drinking area..... .....as I've always claimed - 'cardboard club, cardboard club, cardboard club......\ Sad, sad, sad, but so glad I've hooked with the right Club now! ;D

And to top of the sad state of affairs at Newcastle Uknighted, there is this article on the Newcstle Football Forum:
"The PFA is urging players employed by Newcastle United between the years 2000 and 2004 to check whether the club has paid any superannuation on their behalf.
Discussion with several former players of Newcastle United indicated a massive underpayment of superannuation, or in many cases, no payment at all.
Under the NSL Collective Agreement, players were entitled to between 8% and 9% of their Gross Wage to have been paid into a superannuation account on their benefit.
The PFA is writing to each player contracted to Newcastle United between 2000 and 2004 to outline this and seek information from them to enable the quantification of their entitlement."
Talk about ironic! Claims of unpaid super was what brought The Newcastle Breakers down originally. The PFA came in with the NNSWSF and SA, plucked the francise off the Breakers and give it too...you guessed it....Newcastle Uknighted!
Seems those promises of financial responsibility from Constantine's outfit were so much hot air.
