Yeah auburn and froggy always seem to have a good sense of humour to follow when they start up a chant - it's good fun, albeit a bit blue at times.

I'm being a bit cheeky here and feel free to 'dickhead' me, but what's the use of some of the songs in the Members section if we get told by the Police not to say this or that at the games? Last night it was the "f" word that was verboten, what's on their list next time? Like auburn and a few others, I really wanna get stuck into the Paper Airplanes on Father's Day, and we don't need the 'thought police' in force. 'Dickhead'! What about away games, where there might not be such a restriction. We can use the restricted list there. That is assuming there is not an A-League-wide non-swearing edict. I can't imagine that the same rules would apply in the Shed, the Cove, or in the Hanger for that matter. |

I think we should be working towards a day where it's not the case in bay 16 either. Time will tell if that's possible.

'Meet the Marinators' will be the new section from me on the web site next week, will get it done by wednesday to make sure everyone gets to see it by the weekend! Also my wife Bek has said she is more than happy to be chief photographer for the Marinators, pre-game, during the game and after the games so we can start a gallery on the site! Good idea she does it as she is the only 1 apart from omni who is sober! She also came up with a good idea to promote the site to other Mariners fans, please feel free to say it sucks if you think it does! We could print a few business sized www.marinators.net cards to hand out to people, and what Bek will do is take a pic of people as they are entering the ground or inside the ground of families etc coming to watch the game (people who are dressed in Yellow of course). Once she takes the picture give them a card and say if you would like to see your photo visit www.marinators.net, this will get other people to view the site and hopefully spread the word to others. Thoughts?  Kev / Adz would this be possible? ?? |
