Poll closes midday tomorrow (Tuesday) for the presentation to the players.
Personally think Spencer was awesome and the best game I saw him play so far.
Put your comments after voting.

Poll closes midday tomorrow (Tuesday) for the presentation to the players. Personally think Spencer was awesome and the best game I saw him play so far. Put your comments after voting. Hard to go past Nick of course, but two others especially caught my eye - Crawley (for once I never worried when they took a shot) and Tom Pondeljak (who not only created, but seemed to be in competition with Sully for who could run the most. His corner for the 2nd goal was spot on, and his lead up work (saw SBS) on the 3rd goal was class! With Crawley not in the poll - Yep, I've vote for Tom.

Crawley was solid but not deserving of the MOM
He hardly did anything.

Crawley was solid but not deserving of the MOM He hardly did anything. He allowed my heart to not race everytime they got in shooting range - at my age I appreciate that - aint that worth anything? ;D Actually he made two fingertip saves down the other end - one pushing it just wide and the other I think onto the crossbar! Then of course - as we would agree - the media always get it wrong mate! I would have still voted for Tom. - The only thing on Tom though is he didn't shoot from 30m enough!

MOM should be someone who has influenced the victory or was gallant in defeat.
Crawley will get plenty of opportunities to be MOM because he is so loved.

I really should have added Heffernan to that poll but can't fix it now.

Crawley's fingertip stuff was incredible and it looked just effortless, I stand by the comments that he is the BEST GK in the country and is just totally underrated. He had a huge impact on the game, he made at least 2 spectacular saves (that's a draw) and made plenty more (a loss) so he had a huge impact.
Tom set up alot of Mrdja's goals, don't be swayed by who actually got their name on the score sheet, as Mrdja says.
DJ - Mrdja's best goal was number 2, what a blinder, I thought it was an own goal at first!

Can we give it to the entire midfield? I thought Sully was carving them up.

MOM should be someone who has influenced the victory or was gallant in defeat....... Whilst I agree that the whole midfield should get it, and Mrdja's name is down as scoring 3 even though he humbly acknowledged the team, it WAS him who actually finnished, and so gets my vote.

Going past Nick would be overthinking it for me, he gets my vote.

""In sports, a hat-trick is associated with succeeding at anything three times in three consecutive attempts. In North America it is often rendered as hat trick, with no hyphen. (The Oxford English Dictionary has it unhyphenated, and gives a variety of examples published in the 19th and 20th centuries both with and without the hyphen.)
The term was originally used in cricket, and was connected with the custom of giving a hat or cap to a bowler who achieved the feat of taking three wickets in a row. It may be connected with the concept of giving someone their "cap", i.e. acknowledging them as a regular member of a representative team. Another school of thought mentions that a bowler was challenged if he could take three in three. Hats were passed around to collect the odds. The bowler succeded, and collected the large amount of cash. Thus the term hat-trick could have been also derived from this event."""
Red Vedder, make mine Carlton Draught, thank you!!!

I heard it was from ice hockey. There was a hat maker who as a sponsorship deal offered a hat for whoever could scoe three goals in a match. The media dubbed it a hattrick. Make mine a Resch's.

Mrdja all the way. Without his performance we would not have won by so much. 3 Goals in 1 match is always hard to beat.
;D Super Mrdja ;D
