Haha just thought I better start a thread on Golden boys effort tonight.
Full credit to his singing and dedication to the Mariners but shame he couldn't walk out of the stadium ;D
I hope you feel alright tomoz mate, drink lots of water and have a big sleep in.
I wonder how much of the game you will remember?

f*** mate now I have to say sent off - I was going to say injured but played on just till the end before being stretchered off by Lou & Auburn!
Who got kicked out for throwing celery (oo I'm so stoked about starting celery chants), in hindsight the celery is a bad idea.

The celery was fine until it became a shower!

Haha yeh thats what I said to ya,
Golden Boy = Stretchered off- pulled a hamstring in the 75th minute of play! Auburn and Fish had to carry the stretcher. Thanks guys!

Special mention for Fish carrying Golden Boy down the stairs at the stadium, over his shoulder! Great effort.
Lou and Auburn took a shoulder each and led the injured one around the distraction that was CCLC. Golden Boy is a champ as he was insistent in continuing the game at CCLC, but the more older heads amongst us thought he should be rested for now.

I also saw another guy in a marinators shirt being taken out of Bay 16. I heard them saying to him that he was too drunk to stay and he was saying "I've only had a couple of beers."
Not sure who it was though or if he was causing trouble.

Ah," the boy with the midas touch ", eh? Nah nah nah..... Edit to see " the boy with the technicoloured spew " He was falling around like a baby in a playpen. Ive no doubt that GG can take her liquer (hic!) . I heard unconfirmed reports that she was seen behind bay16 at Half-Time chomping on large and offensive pieces of celery. Can anyone confirm? Or maybe someone else has a theory for her,sorry, his untimely demise?  ?  |

I can throw some light on this - One virgin marinator i brought along was kicked out around early second half, apparently for starting tits out for the boys. Not in bay 16 though! The bottle of vodka he had smuggled in was shared by GB and myself. He has a long record of spew/passing outs so i kept him up and singing - just so he didnt go to sleep! I have no memory of full time or anything after, and have been chucking my guts up all day, but it's good to know thatsomeone somewhere is feeling worse than me.
