I believe there is an alarming shortage of breasts attending the mariners game and i am concerned! Everybody should make it their personal goal to get a lassie along to the game on Saturday so that we can pressure them to get their tits out for the boys! I mean, the game of soccer just isn't gunna cut it!

because "tits out for the boys" will definitely make the new girls want to come back too!  nevertheless, i agree that getting more women along is a great idea, and I think it is encumbent upon all of us to put an effort in to bring a new person to games and introduce them to the cult of the marinator. and if they're single, maybe one of you single fellas... [leaping several logical steps in a single bound] imagine the day when the first child of two people meeting in bay 16 is born... spawn of the marinators, born with golden blood and the gleam of a cutlass in the eye, shunning the bottle for the other bottle... imagine the stories: "now sonny, it was a lovely autumn saturday night and the mariners had just sealed the premiership at home, and mummy and daddy decided to celebrate under the brian mcgowan bridge..." |

haha love the idea dibo. surely will happen one day.
billybob, we're football supporters, and as such fall under the typical demographic of football supporters. therefore, most of us are male, with some females who are equally as keen on the football as the lads. if you want to promote more female football supporters, then good on you, encourage all the ladies you know to come along. referring to girls as breasts is not the way to do this. its this sleazy attitude that probably keeps some female supporters away from our big predominantly male group.
if you want to share a football match with a mixed group, encourage the ladies to come not drive them away. if you want to see breasts or pick up, go to troppo not the footy.

WT is right... we are football supporters not "breasts". I'm willing to bet he's single .... however with the charming eloquence that he exhibits, I wonder how the ladies contain themselves....

I think it's probably more to do with the fact that football supporters have better taste than the average person!

My wife is a season ticket holder and would love to start up the Marinettes or similar in Bay 17! Both sisters come to the game too, most of you will know Sarah and Jess (aka Puss in boots) If the boys start singing tits out etc fair enough its not like anyone expects it! If we had a womens group they could just throw it straight back us and sing dicks out for the girls. |

They can still do "their thing" within the Bay. At Spirit there was often a chant that said "we are the boys ....." and it was returned "we are the girls ..." |
