Getting to the Stadium before 12 will be the problem. I guess we have to enter via the West Entrance, and where can you park the car. Doesn't help that tomorrow work is predicting abit of chaos with the Cross City Tunnel opening. And I have to wait at the Depot til 10:35, and be available to run extra services in the last 1/2 hour of my first shift... but I've clued up the boss and if it's quiet enough I can get away earlier.

It's not easy for everyone to get out of work on a Monday afternoon, if I could as with most people I am sure we would all had been there!

sorry mick, i only found out about this today once i got to uni. i already had group work on, so couldn't ditch as it is not fair to the others in my group. also i would of struggled to get back from newcastle in time for the photo shoot after my morning class had finished.

as with when i said i was disappointed to the ice hockey, the finger might be pointed more towards the people that said they were coming and didnt as opposed to those who could never make it.

Very, very sad You know, I did make the offer on this thread (twice), and it included a question: ....I'd be more than happy to come on as a sub for a regular Marinator that the time's not good for, if numbers are needed. Could I borrow a Marinator shirt.... I'm disappointed (in myself) that I interpreted the silence to mean that enough of the 'in crowd' (feels a bit like that) would be available - or nobody could spare a shirt. Should have just lobbed up (again). Sorry. I know the time wasn't easy for a lot of people.

for those who really care there are ways of working around things
- arrange with your boss to have a longer lunch break and work the extra half hour like i am doing - have someone cover your shift for twenty minutes longer during your lunch break - have your friends take lecture notes for you - reschedule your group meeting (i'm sure people in your uni group do it to you all the time)
possibilities are endless and all i am hearing is excuses
where there is a will there is a way
this was a time the club really needed us and we let them down
it was for the front page of the sun weekly's edition that will go to thousand of homes throughout the central coast and we get a lame five people for the supporter's photo
it was embarassing saying to the express reporters I don't know where everyone is
