obviously i'm not referring to record contracts or "marinator idol" or anything stupid like that, but to help noobs learn songs more easily would it be a good idea to have someone record and MP3 them and whack them on the marinators' site? that way any dang fool can listen in and go "aaah, i get it" after a couple of runs through. or is that a dumb idea?

I too think it's a great idea, but don't have a digital recorder! I have an MP3 player which records that I could bring along, then download them straight onto my computer and email them to Adz or kevrenor, not sure how good the quality would be but could give it a go.
Happy to do it in the kendall bar then we can all get used to the new songs too. Failing that happy to meet up this week with a few lads, have a drink and sing song so we can put them on the site by the weekend.

Meet up at the Leaguesy on friday to watch the other matches? sing some songs then? think i will be kicked out of the house if i go out friday night this weekend i have to do two parent's birthdays, two father's days, play a major semi and do the call for the mariners in fact the missus has to look after my parents on sunday while i am playing and when i am at the stadium of course she will be at the game too looking after my folk so can't push it |

Seems like Friday may be a no go - lets hold off until Sunday when we are all together and in the Kendall bar so we are allowed to sing and won't annoy anyone else in the club. I will bring my mp3 player along which will do the job, but if anyone has anything better that we could use please bring it if you can.
