I met a few of them down the pub last night (plus their TOD gnome or whatever it is lol), couldn't get round all of them there were too many Also saw Clarky down there, he said when they arrived they saw the Mariners training on the beach and gave em a bit of stick (esp Gumpy) lol Nice bunch of blokes (and a few females) - Sunday will be a lot of fun! As a supporter group we can learn a lot from this lot - Welcome to the Coast (but please go home unhappy )

Met them all at the Sailing Club last night - top stuff!
Great bunch of lads and lasses. Great TOD traditions. As DJ said we should watch and learn.
They were also kind enough to present Marinermick and I with a gift to the Marinators which will be hanging in the Kendall Bar soon enough!

and that gift was.......... you have to wait and see but it will adorn the walls of our bar for many years to come and i'm sure a symbol of a fantastic future relationship another token is that they are all joining as CCLC membersw today was a good night at the sailing club last night and they were a friendly bunch

I had a really good time last night at the Sailing Club. Meet a few of the lads, interesting to say the least!
Really looking forward to this afternoon. Make sure you all bring your voices, as those guys & gals can really belt out a tune.

Is there a single one of them under 45?!!
It looked like a seniors purple convention at Terrigal yesterday as they all breakfasted in leisurely style at Essere! We occasionallly roused them from their turpor with a toot of the horn and a wave of Mariners' merchandise!! Is their singing close harmony? Do they get pensioner discounted entry to the ground? I think we should be told...!

Save $15/week for the next 30 weeks - that's only 3 beers at the stadium then you can go. $20 even more towards trip. Think of it as a Christmas club except the present is perth to yell for the yellow.

Also piss your pensioners off - we just save well and do without. Pensioners comment, you can shove it. We have as much, if not more fun and entertainment than you kids.

Think of it as a Christmas club except the present is perth to yell for the yellow. This isn't possible for those like Jesus who works part time/casual and it's naive to think that it is going to be this easy for everyone. For some there only entertainment for the week will be the game. Similarly watch that amount be wiped out of your budget with a quarter percent interest rate rise. For those interested the gloryboys paid around $2k each for there trip and we would be up for a similar price I'd say. flights are around $300 each way out of Sydney.

Personally I reckon we should be less ambitious and make the trip to Brissie en masse.
We have a younger fan base and will get more going.

It was actually $1100 but when you add all the piss they drank that 2K figure is not unreasonable. The major issue with doing a group airline booking is that you cannot get the cheap airfares.
