booyah!
I know it's game day cause it's raining up here in the valley.
Whats the weather on the coast doing? Is there any plans for a pre-game/pre-kendall kick around?

I think we can say goodbye to our hopes for a record breaking crowd....It's not a very nice looking day at all, very wintery.

Overcast on the South side of the Hawkesbury, Sun just starting to break through so I dare say all should be fine for kickoff.

doesn't look like there's too much rain about but it's pretty overcast! Radar looks promising!

i hope CCLC have their power back for pre match drinks.
my last night of club troppo was ruined by the kendall bar running out of yagermiester and a black out!
this rain will definately damage our crowd.

The weather will be more hamrful than the CCEA....though the CCEA is more likely to deter a smaller number of people, but for longer IMO.

the weather is just plain crap. i have a cold too, which is just my luck. apparently it was going to clear up but im not sure. There will definatley be less sydney fans attending, but ive already seen 4 doing pre game shopping at spotlight.

Well it cleared up - not a hint of the clouds letting loose as we got a 0-0 draw. Only match ever between us two with no goals. 12,000 is a decent crowd too. Think that the result was probably fair, though the fact we had a goal dissallowed AND two posts. However they attacked well in the last twenty and luckily they didn't trouble vuky with the chances they had. Good work on Sully to do that awesome slide tackle in the last minute to stop a certain 1 on 1. We really lifted with Gumprecht and Pondeljak in the side, and Mrdja's freekick was fantastic - besides the fact it hit the post... Hope Vidmar is okay. Anyway it was a good match and we kept our home record intact, and also still hold fourth. Nice work New Zealand!

Great game....but what happened after the game was terrible. Thanks to that f***ing express article police were looking for trouble. Sydney fan shouted out something about the coast and for his trouble police slammed him into metal gates at the exite. Then held him against the fence with forearm to the throat, before slamming him into fence 2-3 times followed with a big swinging slam to the ground.
Then when surrounded by people going nuts put on their black gloves and whipped out batons threatening to hit people who didnt back off.
Disgusting.....and i blame the EXPRESS

Missed that - left early and was stuck for half an hour at the train station parking, and I have no idea what the hold up there was for... I did notice however that just before fulltime, a whole herd of secruity appeared around bay 16...

Do you work for the Central Coast Express do you bob51?
Put it straight forward as I can.. There are NO reports of trouble between the fans, before, during or after the game.

settle down there black adder, he was just asking if anything happened. If anything happened anywhere I'm sure we'll hear about it on here.
What did Jesus get kicked out for? I also saw somebody bring the cops to the front of Bay 16 again for something or other...

did anyone see what happen the DICKHEAD who went into the middle of the cove before the game had even started. all i saw was him being deservedly escorted out by the police and his mariners jersey covered in blood. it's those kind of DICKHEADS the mariners and the marinators DON'T need at the games.

Apologies if he didn't mean anything by the post I guess still annoyed at the crap dished up by the Express Advocate. Prehaps my cynical side but two posts, and both asking if their were any crowd problems sounds trollish to me (again apologies if it is a genuine concern)

Hey 'the sandman' how about YOU settle down?... blackadder is within his rights to ask the question here, especially under the recent circumstances and especially seeing as bob51's 2 (only) posts are asking questions about 'agro' between mariners fans and oppositions fans. Bob51, I'll be monitoring your posts from now.

Was there trouble after the game between Mariners and Sydney fans? Bob51 can't be from the Express his question would almost qualify as research!
