Serious? I thought browny kept Carney fairly quiet and played some good balls down that left wing. I think he is playing better at left back for us rather than on the wing.

Where you watching the game or what? any player that misscues a ball is not worthy of a sopt on the team! wow, one mistake in a game where he marked the most dangerous player in the a-league out of the match 3- Brown 2 - Wilkinson 1 - Jedinak If Gumpy played the rest of the game like the first thirty minutes we would have won 3-0 and everyone would have voted for him. Unfortunately he ran out of steam. That's what happens when you are out for nine weeks. I am so excited to see the magic triangle (Mrdja, Gumps & Tommy) out there starting. As shown in the first thirty minutes with them fit we can wwin the league. |

Honourable mention for Sully's penalty area tackle!

Another tough one!
Big display by Methuselah Brown, Gumps made the Blings lives hell in midfield, Mile did a job on Corica, O'Sullivanihno weaved his samba magic, Kwassie put in as did Mrdja. Danny was Danny ... (compare composure with arse, Bolton). But for me I will go:
3. Alex Wilkinson (a captains dig and gave Zdrilic, then Petrovksi no real chances)
2. Damian Brown (he saw Carney in his sleep all week)
1. Andre Gumprecht (welkommen - but do a job on Colosimo next week OK?)
