couldnt make the game, dont have foxtel, so this is a radio asessment:
3- brownie (now everyone knows how to take out carney)
2- Jedi- solid as ever (sign this guy NOW)
1- Sully- tackle of the match, ever dependable etc
honorable mentions- wilko, gumps
Funny how two of my MOMs sully and brownie arent natural backs (I know, whatever that means), just goes to show what lawrie can get out of the guys.
Mrdja - we've got a dead ball specialist! It just gets better...
Nice to see our central midfield getting votes.
BTW, if anyone heard coast FM's interview with Spenny at halftime, after all the shite during the week, the guy is a legend..grace under fire, pointed out the strength of this club is its connection to the region, still acting like a captain. Bravo spenny...bravo.

and gracious enough to do the interview at the last minute when stringers was caught up with sbs
he made some great comments about being injured pre-season and just couldn't get his knee right all year - that is why he has been struggling

Is it just me, or do people vote for Gumps for the sole reason that he is on the park??? Seriously, Great 1st half from the bloke, but he was stuffed in the second, you could see it. Yes he had a great shot in the second, but not much else besides. It gets a bit pointless doing this if every person on here picks him every week, even if he had only half a good game. There is 11, sometimes 14 good players out there for us every week people, not just 1.

Speaking to him after the game he was a little disappointed in himself that he died so quickly after thirty minutes. Was absolutely awesome from 0-30 min but after that was not worthy of MOM. I guess we were all glad to see him back on the park making a contribution. By the way, Fish normally hands out the MOM on a Tuesday morning so any votes after Monday are obsolete. |

It gets presented on Tuesdays as thats the best day for the boys to be together and Lawrie doesnt mind that day and Monday or Sunday depending when we play seems to have the most use on the forum.So far this season the winner has been clear but this weeks I waited until the close of Tuesday.Im happy to let it run until the end of the week.
