Nothing the Squadron can come up with is in the same stratosphere as BFZ. I agree, that BFZ banner has to be one of the top 5 highlight of the 06/07 season. Every time I see it, it cracks me up! It's on a par with that Scum 'dud of all time' that backfired - FTM (Follow the Mariners). |

"gorgeous central coast" are you sure we are thinking of the same thing here auburn??? AB's got it right. I'm travelling from Newcastle to spend holidays on the C Coast. Have done on previous years too. Lots of top spots to stay and see. Can't say the same for Newcastle - resort-wise. Although the beaches here are super, holiday accommodation sucks big time. Ettalong, Tuggarah, Pearl Beach, Avoca, The Entrance, etc. is a darn sight more appealing than Newcastle, Charlestown, and Wickham! I guess some in Newcastle have it lucky in that local residents 'own' the beaches, not tourism. My work requires me to have easy access to an airport, so sadly I couldn't live on CC (until I retire maybe). |

There is a photo that was on the Marinators site ages ago... of a home game and the background consists of a full bay of yellow, while the foreground consists of 3 bogans who appear to be under the age of 18, watching us cheer.
I used to have it on my computer but it may be on the site still.
If someone could find that and post it on that site, it would be gold.

Brisbane Water is idyllic, and the beaches are excellent.
Oh, and we have a football team to be proud of.
