CC Marinators Poker night?
My two loves in life outside of family are rugby league and football - another is poker and I have been playing it since I was about 9-10 y.o (suffice to say, I love the poker boom happening in Australia and online).
Has anyone put in any thought to a Texas Hold Em Poker night with the CCLC?
I for one would make the effort to turn up and play poker with fellow Mariner fans.
Thoughts?

Awesome, I think we could get enough people for a tournament.
Instead of money prizes, perhaps we could look at merchandise e.g. signed Mariners jersey for 1st

China.
I have other mates who do the poker nights, could get a hook up with some chips perhaps!
Should our Vice President for Events grab the reigns on this one? I reckon it'd be great!

This, a Marinators trivia night, a more established golf day with some player involvement, the annual Mariners Xmas thing, a 'tour of duty' type away trip, and an annual pre-match BBQ and kickaround on Gosford waterfront, and our 'extra-cirricular' calendar will be looking fantastic

I am glad this is being well received, I will make every effort to be a part of the "off field" activities involving the Marinators from this season onward.

Poker night sounds great, both Auburn and I enjoy texas poker especially with fellow mariners.
I am in for the next Golf day too, Auburn has been very patient in teaching me to play and bought me a lovely set of ladies golf sticks which I chose instead of some bling bling jewellery.

In.
I play online on Party Poker and Poker Stars ocassionally too, for play money. Maybe if enough people rego we could get a Mariners table going at one of those one night if we organise a time, and have a few lead in practice game, before the live one.
Whatever, I'm in though. I will lose too.
