Hi we will be showing the game in the Kendall Bar only. It will not be shown on any other screen. So all who want to watch the match please head there. doors open at 7.30pm. It is a private function for the Marinators and friends. Under age must be accommodated by adult and not allowed into the Club by themselves for any reason. Regards Charles CCLC

Thanks Mick, how was yesterdays do? Charles CCLC healthy but not brilliant numbers at the kendall hopefully more packed this weekend in all honesty, i do not know if a crowd of this size justfies the cost to the leagues club of opening the bar your call but i do not think people would be too upset at buying their drinks at the sports bar friday may be a different story, though as sunday is not a big drinking night also, the sooner we get the projector and big screen in the kendall the better

I agree, but after the last friendly. I thought it would be better to staff it. We will also staff the Bar on Friday as it's the only outlet showing the game. As you say it's more the area to be able to see a game getting the drinks isn't a hardship. Thanks for the feedback as always. See you Saturday. Charles CCLC

Charles CCLC Obviously having the bar open is preferable, but i would not like to see the club lose money on the exercise and worse still pull the coverage because it is not financially viable.

There were quite a few australian fans in the sports bar when i walked through during the 1st half. If these people are going to watch it on friday they will be in the kendal, so should be packed.

The sports bar was packed, and there were people in the Kendall bar, so there were more people watching the Australia game than the State of Origin the other night.

I agree, that was always the risk that they would all go to the big screen, which is great. We didn't worry about the cost in the Kendall as long a football is the winner. I agree the Kendall should be packed Friday so everything balances. Cheers again for the feedback Charles CCLC

My sister will be there Friday night, therefore making it financially viable to man the bar.

Our pleasure Pete. Just to remind you guys as well that our $4 members special meal will also be on. A choice of one of 4 dishes for only $4, just present your card when paying. The usual pizza, fish chips, burger, Thai and roast section will be open as well. You can take food into the Kendall. Don't forget the prize for the kids and adults on the night. If I could ask you to do the honours once again Jeff please. Enjoy CCLC Charles

If you're in the city or nearby tonight, pop into the Agincourt on the corner of Harris and Broadway, where at least two marinators will be sinking beers and shouting at the teev, along with a fair few other football fans.
