i went down to rns this arvo/tonite and saw keensy. he is looking much better then i thought he would face still swollen nd slightly bruised but u cant injure the kids spirit. he is still the same old keens u come to expect, cracking jokes nd smart arse one liners. it was good to see him he got moved into a ward today so he is out of ICU which is always a bonus. he heads in for the plastic surgery to fix up the shattered cheek bone on thursday.

I don't get on here very often anymore, but how can I not post in this topic.
JJ is such a great kid and it broke my heart when I heard about what happened, it just goes to show he's got no fear and pretty close to indestructible - I just really hope he doesn't try to prove the indestructible point again. Stace, Sueden, Steve, Jamie, and yes, even Ruden, you are all in my thoughts, but especially you Jared, get well soon big guy.

Yeh well done to Stacey and Brad for keeping us all updated, thanks heaps guys =). Went to see JJ on tuesday (with Newky) and he seemed to be recovering well given the circumstances. As many have said, he's still cracking those awesome one liners and loving a good laugh. Hope todays surgery went well mate, wishing you all the best, might even come down for another visit soon. Well, im out of hospital now guys....its been 2 long weeks.
Had the surgery 18th to remove blood clot in my brain followed by plastic surgery to fix my skull fractures, shatter cheekbone and shattered eye socket. The plastic surgery has left 6 plates in my face. That was then followed up by a second plastics op to touch up a few things and then after a few test with the neurophyscoligist today ive been allowed home.
Still suffering from few headaches and double vision(have a follow up appointment next week to determine whether its due to swelling or position of my rebuilt eye socket), but all seems well and docs have been suprised by the speed of my recovery.
The down side is no football or putting myself in a situation that puts me at risk to a headknock for an absolute minimum of 3 months and no school for rest of the term and no hsc trials(which can only be a positive).
anyway, thanks for the messages, keensy
