opening at 5pm and thats when the first 'lucky door' tickets will be given out. Eggy, working on some signage around the CCLC on game day telling people that Mariners fans are in the Kendall etc.  |

I'd like to remind all the usual Kendall Bar attendees that we handed out lots of 'invitations' for lots of Mariners Fans to come in the bar this Friday night, which means that we will hopefully have a lot of people who haven't been in the Kendall before or have thought that the Kendall is for 'members only' or some such things.
Lets say g'day, have a chat, find out where they're from and make sure they keep coming back huh!
Make a point of having a chat to a face you haven't seen in there before, tell them what happens on game day and also the away matches screened on the new big screen etc. and make em feel welcome.
Thanks people .....oh, and as Serious says.....FIRE THE FARKIN HELL UP!!!!!!!!

i was thinking it might be a good idea to put a sign out the front on the club about the kendall bar on match days. Saying all welcome, cheaper beer ext... The Marinators Club marketing sub-committee are already on the case. Jeff can elaborate but initially we want to remove the "Home of the Marinators" pull up banner because it might be detering some people from coming in. It may look exclusive. Over the next few games there will be all sorts of signage making everyone feel welcome. You could repace the 'home of the marinators" with FIRE UP FARKIN' ;D |

any chance of removing a few tables in the kendall?
ive found that the kendall gets too tight as the only place to stand and have a beer is on the tiled area and noone can spill onto the carpeted area where the tables and chairs take the room.
one day this place will get so packed that we will be forced to stand, and also, sitting down takes the fun out of it a bit dont you think?
maybe not this weekend but in the coming prematch kendalls maybe have a think??

We've talked about that Perm (CCLC and us) and it will be reviewed for each occasion as it arrives. If we have to remove tables, thats a success in my book! |
