Jets have never lost to QLD Roar at Suncorp and a win and a draw is paying $3.35 definately worth putting a tenner on one of those outcomes. you know that each time you toss a coin it doesn't actually remember the last result, right? past results make for great filler in newspaper articles and whatnot, but the teams are different, the season is different, we'll see. i'm tipping qld for the win, unfortunately. You were saying something about coins Dibo? ;D BTW I tipped the jets and you would have nearly broken even by now if you listened to my tips instead of throwing $20 down the drain.

Gee, a Jets fan tipping the Jets? Who woulda thunk it... If you keep picking them every week, you would think you would get one right eventually... that would be like us blindly betting on the Mariners every week and... oh....

Another $20 down the drain literally with the match being called off due to a poor drainage system ;D You really should have listened to my tips!

Is this because you're not old enough to put your own bets on? Go away.

Hows it work with refunds i use to work in a tab but i ve forgotten what happens in the event of a cancellation/postponement i think its just like when a horse gets "scratched" you just scan ticket and get your money back you'll probably have to put the bet on again later before rescheduled match there will be different odds.IMO

Perms up this week.
Queensland Roar 2.55 Draw 3.25 Central Coast Mariners 2.55
Wellington Phoenix 2.20 Draw 3.40 Perth Glory 2.90
Sydney FC 1.90 Draw 3.40 Newcastle Jets 3.70
Melbourne Victory 2.55 Draw 3.25 Adelaide United 2.55
Nothing really juicy there........draw between us and QLD? Perth to beat Wellington perhaps? I guess Jets are a chance too but they have a poor record at SFS.
QLD vs CCM = Draw/Draw 4.75 CntrlCoast/Draw 13.00 QLD v CCM = Draw 1-1 6.50

Perm, you have until 1pm to post your choices, otherwise im unable to put the bets on. If not, it will either the next person in line, Floss, and so on so forth until someone posts, or it will be a double week next week

from the tab sports betting rules: ############################################ 5.1.6 Postponement of a sports betting eventWhere a sports betting event is postponed or is listed for replay and is not officially scheduled to be replayed or conducted within three (3) calendar days of the original scheduled completion date, the sports betting event shall be treated as abandoned and all sports bets shall be refunded. This clause is subject to any sports specific clauses in part 5.2 herein, where applicable. ############################################ so the wording is a little vague for me... I think it means that since it wasn't played within 3 days of the original date it is officially abandoned and bets are refunded.... it could also mean that since the replay schedule was announced within 3 days the bet is still on? only way to be sure is to go into the tab and run the ticket thru the machine

'Where a sports betting event is postponed... ...the sports betting event shall be treated as abandoned and all sports bets shall be refunded.' you'll get the cash back. A little creative editing from the Richard Noone school of twisting the facts to suit the occasion?

'Where a sports betting event is postponed... ...the sports betting event shall be treated as abandoned and all sports bets shall be refunded.' you'll get the cash back. A little creative editing from the Richard Noone school of twisting the facts to suit the occasion? nope, i knocked out 'or is listed for replay and is not officially scheduled to be replayed or conducted within three (3) calendar days of the original scheduled completion date'. as that did not apply to these circumstances (we didn't have a grand final or something that was drawn and set to be replayed). even if it were considered to apply, the 'replay' is not scheduled to happen within 3 days, in which case the refund is made anyhow. i removed an inapplicable subclause that did not alter the meaning or spirit of the text insofar as it applies to this eventuality. (nice legalese huh?)

found out bets are being refunded, and that's a shame 'cos I think our odds will be a bit lower now if we have a full squad back
