it will all depend on what time people finish work but I think we should aim for the 4.36 or 5.09

while i'm not going down by train (being in sydney already) it would be great if people could travel by train together and get fired up on the way. if you want to try new songs, you can give them a go on the train and then fire them up on the pub crawl. there's a 5.09 starting from Gosford, going all stops to berowra then hornsby, epping, strathfield and arriving at central at 6.35 - that gives about the right time for the crawl (not so long that people are completely pissed, not so short we don't have time to stop).

i think it should be as much time as possible at the kb then straight to the ground
don't worry about other pubs
6:35pm may be cutting it a bit fine - ten minute walk from station to KB and you really want to leave around 7:00pm so that only leaves 15 minutes for a drink

i think it should be as much time as possible at the kb then straight to the ground - you tend to lose people in a crawl and time does not permit don't worry about other pubs 6:35pm may be cutting it a bit fine - ten minute walk from station to KB and you really want to leave around 7:00pm so that only leaves 15 minutes for a drink i'm keen as for maximum beer time (within reason - see earlier post) but the kb's closer than that - it's down on the flat part of foveaux still, and teh whole walk to the stadium only takes 15 min. leaving that aside, what time do we want to be in the ground?

i'm keen as for maximum beer time (within reason - see earlier post) but the kb's closer than that not when you take into account queuing to get out of the train, queuing to get out of the gates and walking to the other side of the station to get to foveaux as my experience when i get off at epping every day you can also guarantee that the train will be at least two or three minutes today was the first day in three weeks that my train arrived at the time stated in the timetable

You can still drink tho Pete Seriously, I have taken a vow of abstinence from alcohol since the last Socceroos vs. Uruguay match this year. When I was speaking to you last night Adz, only one of us was drunk. And in any case, driving a bus requires a .02% or below, so no grog anyways. The way I feel at times, I should have taken up Holy Orders when I was thinking about that when I was 25...I live like a bloody monk! (Poverty, sobriety and chastity dammit)

I may have to go straight from uni, and meet people at the KB.
Alas oxfam have given me my shift for the 100k walk at Berowra at 10.30 so I will only catch the first half.
