I wouldn't mind the bay becoming a seperate ticket class, so it's not allocated seating but is seperate to the GA riff raff.

But then some people who don't want to be apart of a "fans club" can't sit in the Bay.

I fail to see what will change with a reserved area (bay 16), security still need to police it, people will still wander in, younger people will still get in there earlier than those who like the Kendall bar a lot. People will be too busy saying I wonder if that person has a bay 16 ticket? Should they be in here? Sing up or buy another GA ticket...when they should be busy concentrating on supporting the Mariners...IMO it's not worth it. I was very pro-reserved seating in season 1 and some of 2, but after speaking with the club and understanding their views I honestly feel we should stay as we are for now.
People need to either spread out to bays 15/17, get there earlier, we can ask the club adopt the 1 person per seat rule in bay 16 to prevent over-crowding?
Personally I'd rather see the away bay moved to bays 1 and 2 then see a reserved Marinator section.......but that's another subject.

u could do what they do in 3rd world cities when they host big international events and cover up unsightly things i.e. emos with a banner. This may not be as stupid as it sounds, all jokes aside. If Bay 16 is unreserved but you have the proper Marinators up the back, why not have some sort of banner down the front, eg the mariners shirt that was passed up before the game. If it was tied across the seats this would deter the emo kids from sitting there and if they tried to move the banner security would be able to remove them for damaging property. It could also help the bay to look fuller and more colourful.

You guys should just keep doing what you do best - get the party atmosphere cranking, sing, chant, hand out songsheets and flyers. As the wins keep happening then it's natural for people to want to be a part of it, so Bay 16 will attract more and more of the "right" kind of people and eventually there won't be any room for the posers and Emos to sit.
The strong will survive etc.

None, they like to cut themselves in the dark.

but i do agree of a marinators section.
i think we should start off with bay 16 then gradually grow into bays 15 and 17
