i had a tops weekend starting with newcastle's capitulation friday night, brewing my own beer and beer appreciation on saturday, followed by last night's result

Belated congrats Mick!
Uncannily I came across an old U11(?)Newcastle Rep side photo the other day, and saw a much younger MM.
It all seems a long long time ago, yet only yesterday.
Pleased that the results (beer included) worked out for you!

Belated congrats Mick! Uncannily I came across an old U11(?)Newcastle Rep side photo the other day, and saw a much younger MM. It all seems a long long time ago, yet only yesterday. Pleased that the results (beer included) worked out for you! any chance of having that photo scanned and sent to me steve? haha, it did seem like yesterday - getting berated from the manager (mr celery) after taking a bite of my dad's steak sandwich before a game the other huge memory of that tournament is taking the piss out of nathan green in the macquarie rep team for being a worse diver than joel griffiths interesting that he is now a golf pro earning millions of dollars

Looks like I scarred you for life! I do remember your dad being a model football parent though. He was always a pleasure to talk too. Not like some I can recall. One players mother even offered me her body in exchange for a place on the rep team for her son! Nothing wrong in that though.
