With Meggzi and Sonic leaving us it is inevitable that speculation about signings will start. Scott Tunbridge is an ex Joey (U17) from the semi-finalist 1999 team and is a useful flank defender or midfielder. This is nicked from a somewhat unreliable source so take it with a grain of salt: "Scott Tunbridge comes off contract at the Scottish First Division club Hamilton Academicals at the end of this season and is already being sounded out by A-League clubs, which are believed to include Central Coast Mariners and hometown team Adelaide United. The Aussie forward has established himself as a mainstay of Hamilton's promotion push this season and would be a coup for the A-League. Sydney FC winger David Carney, who enjoyed a great season in Australia, struggled to make the bench with the Accies last season before reviving his career in the A-League."

He's played at clubs like Sth Melbourne and Adelaide City, so perhaps Alex has. From what I have heard it was Adelaide as the interstate club chasing him. Will certainly make Marconi Girl happy if he ends up in the Yellow and Blue

I dont think we really need strikers that much, if we re sign kwassy we basicly have the same strikers as we had this season and Nicky will be back. We should be looking at 1 defender atleast possibly 2, espially one that can play left back

Faria sounds like a decent player (word from a mate of mine in Marconi is that CCMFC are certainly looking into him), part of me thinks we don't need strikers but after last year's injury crisis maybe we do need more, Tommy is not a striker! I think the priority should certainly be replacing Sonic & Meggsi
