Keen to hear the thoughts of others on the Game last night. I was pleased with the performance particularly as it was very early in our pre-season preparations. Danny needs to curb his enthusiasm when it comes to acting as sweeper and Kwassy needs to keep working hard to put pressure on Hutch and Mrdja, I thought he look very good last night. Maybe a bit of work on defending set pieces/crosses but i'm sure that is in hand. Interesting to see the Beauchamp Restaurant banner last night, maybe we should retire his number aswell All in all, gob well done for me.

For a trial it was educational. thought Sp and Kwassy did well up front esp kwassy, browny had some fantastic crosses bang on the money Tommy p worked hard but didn't really acheive anything, stringer did well thought Lee was capable but wasn't really tested.
They'll improve more in townsville.
Who's organising the bus?? DJ FISH up for it??

i thought Gladesville did an awesome job with the ground and getting us there and the Beachamp Restaurant.they were really nice. overall the boys played well. Brad Porter has talent and it is about time he got to show it,stringers is strong in the back line but we are definately missing meg-z. it wasn't the same not hvaing spenny out there though.

They had a polite, family crowd. The free pies and sausage rolls at the end was nice of Vili's, too. Plus, I was actually content not having beer available during the game.

Overall I thought SP did very well and is a great vocal leader of the front line (even thou he's hard to understand), I worry about O'Grady at the back, his height will get him out of trouble sometimes and Clarkys pace will help him out at other times. However as someone pointed out to me last night, it took Meggzi a little time to get going so lets see how he goes. Lee didn't really get enough time or ball to show his worth, I still think Browny has a better cross on him!
Plus I hope a bit of fame and over confidence doesn't go to Dannys head next season, U23 star, socceroo training call up and now number 1 keeper etc, perhaps he just didn't give Gladesville enough respect?

Yeah me too, the Red Bull helped though. Thanks to Brett (Mr BLT or whatever your current name is) and his "co-captain" for getting us all organised. Well done boys, you did an excellent job.

Thanks so much to Brett, (WT, MrBLT, ilovecoondogs etc) for organising tickets and the bus. The bus and driver were a fine choice. I apologise about the toilet emergency. Thanks also go out to Sean Pollock as an excellent co-captain.

FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRSSSSS!!!!!
Kudos to Orgad for not snapping like our mate Razzle did at the APIA - Lightning game.
Re: the Mariners performance. Crikey, we miss Beauchamp - here's hoping Lawrie can sort out a happy medium across the back and cover for him as best as possible. Here's also hoping that one of them (at least) is a handy goal pincher, a la Mr. Heffernan.
