Sure was deja vu, and i agree, change our striker!! Kwasnik is a waste of space. we defiantly need a striker that will finish the job. Congrats to our defensive line!

They were terrible and we still couldn't beat them, very disappointing.
Thanks to the coach for giving Tom only 20 minutes.
Bottom of the League.

Just back and so fed up.
Firstly, where were the Marinators? what a piss poor turn out. If you didnt go, you let yourselves and the club down badly. No excuses.
Sadly, Kwassie proved that he should never play for us again, hopelessly outclassed and we really had 10 men with him out there. He just hasnt got it - sorry.
Yes, Sydney were poor, but we had no creativity and no punch at all. An all round terrible performance and I think this season will be a lot harder than we think. We certainly havent improved.
Add to that, we had Blingers in the box above us chucking buckets of food at us - what wankers they are.

Kwassy can ocasionally do a great job setting up goals , but he can neva finish the job. i carnt wait till Mrdja comes back.Theres the strong striker we need. Tommy was a great inclusion for the 20mins he was on. It was a frustrating game to watch with so many attmepts and so many misses. Clint Bolton should be praised by sydney, beacause he was the reason they went home winning.

I'm as pleased as you can be after a loss. From pre-season my biggest concern was that our defense was not going to make it through the season without several below average performances and stupid mistakes. That is not going to happen. We were solid and cohesive. Midfield wasn't quite there today but I have seen enough to know will are fine in that area. Attack was crap. As a wise man once said, "you can't win games if you don't score goals" But if we are looking for excuses in this area we have genuine ones. We needed SP tonight, and Hutch and Tommy P and maybe Mrdja and they will be back. The last 20 minutes with Tommy playing made us look a completely different team in an attacking sense. Luck deserted us tonight to, Bolton was freeky with some of the stops but Kwassy should have done better from point blank range. All in all a poor result but it is only the first game of the season and it was away from home. I am so excited about the prospect of watching us with a full strength side, we will beat anybody and everybody. I think about the "expert" on Fox last night saying we will struggle to make the top 6, I will be flabbergasted if we don't make the top 2.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Bling TV Definitly looked a more dangerous side with Tommy P on the field. A couple of possible injuries with Danny V getting treatment to his groin while the ball was upfield, and Andre heading straight up the tunnel when subbed???

Just back and so fed up. Firstly, where were the Marinators? what a piss poor turn out. If you didnt go, you let yourselves and the club down badly. No excuses. Strange, I seem to remember standing in Bay 3 with a bigger group than normally stands in Bay 16! We had about 1,500-1,800 Mariners fans there around the ground. We were never going to have more than a few thousand. I agree that we didn't finish, and that frustrates me a lot, but we outplayed them for a large part of the game. Take a valium GPFC.
