Does anyone know how long our players are signed for? I know Vidmar and Aloisi are only till the end of the season and would love to seem them both next year.
However, what about Jedi, Boogs and Wilko. I would hate to see them go elsewhere as I think they will be our rocks in years to come.

Wilko was signed for three years (I think 3, maybe 2) at the beginning of the season.. Boogs contract has been renewed for another 1-2. They are in the process of renewing Jedi's contract for another 2-3 years.

yeah im worried about jedi, he is on sydneys shortlist from what i can tell and he will be worth a lot more when his contract is renegotiated this time. If sydney give him an offer we cant match then he will go with them, especially with Milligan likely to go to Europe. that said, no one has ever left the mariners for another a-league club unless lawrie hasnt made a new offer and i cant see that changing with the set up they have here and the way in which the club is run.
I really hope im proven wrong about my suspicions.

jedi will be chased by more than sydney. he loves it here and will be hard to keep but at the end of the day it will be a business decision for himself to look after his finances for a couple of years. I suppose it will come down to the cap and if viddy has another year he will have to fit under the cap if Aloisi stays as marquee? Well be in the market oursleves if we offload a couple so itll be interesting to see whos available to come in

Fish is right, it is a business decision. However, wasn't it Jedi that used to come up and train with the Mariners, even though he wasn't playing, or signed for that matter? I think if that's the case he'd be quite loyal to the Mariners for giving him a start. He didn't do that with Sydney, even though it's closer to home.
