Given the anger many of us are feeling in regards to the unfair nature of the world cup ticketing debacle, this petition has been started up and will be submitted to the FFA and perhaps even the ICAC and FIFA to underline the gross incompetance and unfairness of the ticketing system used for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
There has been no reward for loyal "die-hard" fans, ex-Socceroos and many of the spots instead have been given to "part-time" fans who all of a sudden want to be a part of the beautiful game.
We as football fans embrace the new fan base that the game has enjoyed however remind officials that without us fans who have been there through the dark days and today in the glory days that there would be no football to support in this country.
The tour operator, "The Fanatics" is essentially a bunch of tennis fans and lacks the intimate knowledge and understanding of the game, its culture and fans compared to groups such as the Green and Gold army who is a legion of REAL FOOTBALL FANS, who largely have been left in the dark through this whole process.
Even most of those who successfully applied for tickets are unhappy with the system and are encouraged to be part of this too.
So leave your email address and lets make ourselves heard and known that this is not good enough!
