Perth Glory has announced four new signings for the 2007/08 season.
Anthony Danze and Billy Celeski will come back to the club, while defender Dino Djulbic and young AIS graduate Jimmy Downey will be new additions to the Glory's campaign next season.
Midfielder Naum Sekulovski has also agreed to a one-year contract extension and will be at the club until the end of the 2007/08 season.
Danze returns to the West Australian club after two years with English Premier League side Crystal Palace while Celeski, who played in the club's inaugural season, will also return.
The announcement comes just days after Tony Sage, Brett McKeon and John Spence took over as the Glory's new owners.
Coach Ron Smith said the triumvirate had given the green light to the coaching staff to recruit the players.
“We’re excited about the addition of these players to the squad and I expect in the coming weeks we’ll have a similar number again who’ll join the club,” Smith said.
“The owners have said to us that we can take it for granted that we have the full salary cap to use and that’s obviously going to influence how many players we can sign and our capacity to attract players of high calibre,” Smith said.
With 15 contracted squad members for next season, Smith is adamant that he will continue the search in the coming months and is set to return overseas to secure more high quality players.
“The advantage we have in Australia at the moment is that the Hyundai A-League has gone so well and it has received so much publicity around the world. You have players from Australia that have gone overseas and want to come back plus a number of players who would like to have a new experience and enjoy the lifestyle this country has to offer."
“Without letting the cat out of the bag, we’re pretty well down the line with some contract negotiations and that’ll continue until we have their signatures in black and white.

Also TWG suggested that they are signing someone from europe in the next couple of weeks hopefully, and are still looking around europe. Will be interesting to see who they are looking at.
