 This is the current poll on msn about dangerous dog breeds, clearly the majority of us think that they shoudl be banned. I believe the dog breeds should not be destroyed, becuase any dog has the ability to seriously injure or kill, although i do agree that if the dog has caused harm to someone, then it should be destryoed, however i believe this depends on the circumstances upon wich it occured. Just wondering what everyoen else thinks about the matter. |

I voted for "Depends".
Spent my childhood growing up around dogs, the only time getting nipped because I asked for it!
Us humans have brought about these breeds of dogs, and nothing we have done to a breed can't be bred out of them. A breed now maybe considered "dangerous"? Breed whatever is the danger (size, bad temper, overdeveloped tendency to snap) out of them, by selective breeding. May take a few generations but it can be achieved.
But I am sceptical about the media coverage, not diminishing in any way the huge tragedy of losing a child in such circumstances - or having a child permanently scarred.

tools who don't know how to look after dogs should be banned from owning them! Most of the time the owners are the one's to blame IMO!

im with dj dangerous dog breeders should be banned - the proof is that any dog breed can be dangerous, the same week as the absolutly terrible incident with the death of a young girl at warren another child was admitted to hospital in sydney attacked by a jack russell terrier proper training and socialisation would reduce the incidence of these horrible attacks .

I reckon dat if they do somthing to hurt somone then to do somthing to the owner not the dog.Its usually the stupid owners fault.And how cna u riestist their cute faces.

Voted "depends" the dogs will only react dangerous when they feel threathen and only humans can prevoke that.
