I can't wait to see what this is all about.. there's a photo of three "Marinettes" in their underwear in today's Express. Apparently they have 100 ladies "booked" for their girls only support club, and they will be dressed in "blue and yellow Marinette outfits - some in swimwear, the rest in t-shirts". In the last story they said they were going to show us "how it's really done".. if that means they're gonna nude up then I say go for it! ;D

I assume you'll be popping up to Bay 16 when you're not needed in the tunnel - I think it's time you bought a shirt Ugo.
I'm all for it, if it means we're going to get 500 more people (not to mention the people coming for a perv) at the games then bring it on, I just hope they come for more than this one game.

I read that too - bring it on I say! The more vocal CCS is the better - hopefully too many aint blonde and forget the words to the songs! Their 'songs' may be more like "Go Mariners! Woooo! Come on boys!" They are just business women of the coast that have been invited by Yvette Hartman (good looking blonde one/founder) to have fun, raise their business' profiles, raise some cash for charity. Apparently they have 20 models but besides them it looks like at best moderately MILFy business chicks. I dont know where they plan to sit, if anywhere. They have a Marinettes shirt (similar to our first Marinator shirt) and some (the models i assume) will be sporting Otto Swimwear (i assume one of the women owns that business, who cares, sounds hot). Blue haven pools is their shirt sponsor. Blue haven and other business have chipped in to get 200 or so tickets which they give to Marinettes along with the shirts. Their goal is to get people to the games, as well as that other stuff I said before. They have other outings planned such as a Race Day at Gosford. All this information I got out of todays express and tomorrows Sun Weekly. At the end of each article they have 'for more info contact Yvette on 4322 7377 Maybe we should all call one by one tomorrow and ask for dates. These bimbos need to shown that the Marinators are the number 1 game in town! ;D

I hate to say it but they are prob more interested in getting some publicity for themselves and their business`rather than for the mariners football team. Too easy... turn up where there is already a crowd and advertise your own business. The Mariners are the ones doing them the favour by supplying the crowd. In their flyer to encourage girls to go to the game they say ...`it`s your chance to be in the newspapers and tv`...They may pull a fair crowd of girls the first night all wanting to get their mugs on the tv but I doubt they will be able to keep them coming. For that to happen they would have to have a genuine intrest in the game.My feeling is these girls are more intrested in being watched than watching .I think you`ll find the stayers will be the fans that are already in the stands and have been since day dot....they are there for the football and nothing else.

But WT I agree - their songs will be crap (if they sing at all) Yvette actually did Beks make-up on our wedding day!

Hit the nail on the head I think there mate However I'll take any publicity that gets bums on seats for the Mariners!

I think sitting with the marinettes would be like trying to watch a football match with a hens party infront of the tv.

dont comprehend why they have to seperate themselves from us and start up or try and start up what i think its a unisex, safer...marinators. why cant they just stand in the bay next to us? i dont get this "lets be louder than the marinators" vibe that they are pulling off right now hell yeah id love to see more women at the game, but its just disturbing that they use this gift of a marketable image, to compete with the marinators and not join in with them.
