Hello everyone At 9am on the 13th of November, Australia takes its 1st step towards the 2006 world cup in Germany. At 3pm that same day our Central Coast Mariners will play Adelaide United FC at home. So to celebrate these 2 events, im thinking of having a "gathering" of friends and fans for a few drinks and a BBQ breakfast, and possibly a kick around between these 2 events.
For all those interested, please post your interest here. Details will become available, depending on peoples interest. All will be welcome (this dose not mean u, roarmeat) and it should be a great chance 2 meet and get to know everyone a little better.
Thank you for your time.

Yeah I'm in for sure. I think with daylight savings the Uruguay game is 10am? So 9am might be a good meeting time. Would we watch the match at your place or move down to the leaguesy? A lunchtime kickaround sounds fantastic as well.

I for one think we should support the leaguesy and watch it there, after all they sponsor us. I think a BBQ at the Bearinator's Den would be a good way to fill in time between the 2 games and a good brekkie (I'll supply soft drink guys! Hope you like Pepsi Max )

Sounds like a plan Bearinator!
I think we should watch the game at CCLC, better view plus Charles is going to quite a bit of effort for us so we should support him and the CCLC!

I'm staying on the gorgeous Central Coast over that weekend (Nov 11-13) for a regional cricket carnival. We play Friday (Fagans Park), Saturday & Sunday (both at Sohier Park), every day from 9.30-6.30. I'll miss the first leg and our game that day against the SA heathens. I will get to the after match presso, though (apologies for non-attendance at the game; maybe the rain can grant me a reprieve once again!!).
However, I'd LOVE to see any of the Marinators drop by to watch a few overs and have a chat, particularly on Friday when we will be attempting to defeat the Central Coast (I'm with Western). So, it'd be great to catch up with anyone who can spare a few minutes; I'll be the stressed-out movable sightscreen whose Royal Blue shirt looks like it was made from a large circus tent.
Cheerio,
AM

I agree, the club is a good idea. So by the looks of it, breakfast is going 2 be real early. Im gunna say, hmmm, 8am, that gives us time 2 eat, and its only a 3 min walk from my joint 2 the club. Will we eat between games??? Have a kick??? Throw some ideas out there people.
