For y'all out there who hate cold hands and warm beer....
I have stubbie holders coming, available before the NYE (jets) game, kendall bar.
They're $10 and easy big enough to fit the stadium cups in it. Very limited numbers so get in quick and be Mariners Till You Die.
Cheers.

Did Mariners til I Die just become a marketing campaign?
Is nothing sacred?

Whats on them? What colour are they are? Where d'ya get em? What did u pay 4 them? If there's profit, are you going to give it the Mairinators bank account? I ask all this because: A) This is you first post on this forum? B) This is not f***ing eBay!

Anyone willing to pay $10 for a stubbie holder has more money than brains. This has to be a wind up.

cmon rowdy, give the guy a break. You will know him when you see him. He spoke to fish and I about this at the club a few weeks ago. Said there was some $$$ in it for the marinators.

Well he failed to mention that in his post. Like I said, it's his 1st post - he's flogging something, what would would you think if u weren't in the know from him speaking 2 you b4hand?
Agree with Urs though, $10 is a bit steep for a stub-holder, UNLESS it has the Mariners logo (unlikely due to copyright). The boys drink'em that fast, can't see the necessity really?

Hey rowdy, don't jump in so fast champ, if you treat people like you did in your post, its likely to be his last one too and that aint what we want...is it? I can vouch for this guy as I've known him since he was in kindy and I know he has Marinators best interest at heart. Perhaps ask first before jumping down someones throat and casting aspersions on someone you know NOTHING about? Nice one tugger, count me in (pm me your bank details and I will direct deposit. Jeff.)

Yeah post number 1 should have been more informative, for all we know they could have been trying to make a few bucks for NYE, so I see where Rowdy is coming from.
If it's all in the interest for the Marinators then I am all for it!
However, I would rather but my $10 towards our NYE treasure hunt! (All $10 goes towards the Marinators cause)

(All $10 goes towards the Marinators cause) yeah DJ, and rowdies post shouln't have been so in your face! example: let me reply to rowdie in the same way he posted instead of the way I did and lets see how it looks... whats on them?... what do you think? der! What colour are they?....purple with pinks spots Einstein! Where dya get em?....whats it to ya? What did you pay for em? ....none of your f***ing business pal! If theres a profit, are you gonna give it to the Marinators bank?....What?...you think I'm doing this so I can retire in the caribean? dickhead dickhead! I say all this because: A/Your post seems to have been posted by a bit of a dickhead who didn't think before typing B/You are NOT god!Hmmm....shit that sounds awful, I'm glad I thought about how I was going to get my point across withought pissing a fellow marinator off!

Ok let me try again (this will be post # 2 for me)
Stubbie holders: big enough to fit stadium cups, not your average piss weak little stubbie holders. They are yellow, don't have a mariners logo on them, are mariner orientated, similar to the cwc shirts mick made (1 of which I have since I've been there from the start, i.e. not a blow in) They are available for NYE because thats how long they took to get here. If I wasn't arsed about they would have been here for Queensland game. $10 is more than reasonable and a donation will go to marinators as I have discussed. Next... Mariners till I die, I had to say something! So once again they will be available before the NYE game in the Kendall bar for all who are interested (except for rowdy, go and get stuffed) and thanks Lou for backing me up, it's on its way... hows the weather down there?

F u c k off Lou! What are u talking about, "treating people like I do, in your face " with my post? Look at it! 5 questions. 2 about the "product" 3 concerning my apprehension of his intentions, which I think (and DJ agreed) are valid. As people have stated on the forum and pre/post game over a beer, The Marinators are an excellent opportunity for the Mariners to promote their club as well as ANYONE! else who's conniving enough to "use" us to promote their business or products. Look at the Marinettes, a Blue Haven marketing campaign, pure and simple. Your comments? whats on them? ... what do you think? der! I don't know what to think, he didn't give any info did he What colour are they? ....purple with pinks spots Einstein! very well could have been for all "I know" from the failure to give more info Where dya get em? ....whats it to ya?
What did you pay for em? ....none of your f***ing business pal!If theres a profit, are you gonna give it to the Marinators bank? ....What?...you think I'm doing this so I can retire in the caribean? dickhead dickhead!I asked these 3 because one post doesn't make you a "fellow Marinator". Bling, Squadron & other's come on here (most with minimal posts), they're not Marinators! He made absolutely no mention of his intentions or that he was supporting the Marinators. Lou says all this because:
A/Your post seems to have been posted by a bit of a dickhead who didn't think before typing "Didn't think"? like I said, I didn't know what to think thats why I "typed the questions". The Mariners don't allow any 3rd parties to flog their wares in or outside the stadium, especially if the Mariners aren't making a buck or aren't getting some other value from it. There's plenty of people within the Marinator's who do heaps of stuff for "non-profit" so that the profit DOES go towards Marinators. Mariner Mick, could have made a profit on the WCC T-Shirts and Marinators jerseys Fish with organising flag's bus trips etc, could have made a profit out of doing these things. Melsy??? Are you u going to make a profit on those wrist bands that you were going to organise for those that wanted them? And you know what? If they wanted to, so be it! But i wouldn't be party to it and I'm sure a few other Marinators would agree and share the same ethos when it comes to someone selling "stuff" in our home ground "The Kendall" with-out "us" making a buck out of it or getting some other value from the exercise. Oh! that's right, your "mate" forgot??? to mention anything in these regards in his first post didn't he! So is you mate prepared to show the receipt of purchase of what he paid for them and give ALL the profit or just a donation? Sure a donation might be good to some around here, but to me it's "all or nothing" otherwise it's just leeching. Won't be long b 4 others give it a go and Charles has to start marking out stalls in the Kendall Flea Market. Were capable, and our doing well at raising fund's ourselves with ALL the profit going to the Marinators. B/You are NOT god! Well no shit, Sherlock! So according to your "laws" of inter-personal communication, asking someone a few Q's is "in your face!" ?? As for repeatedly calling me a "dickhead" on this forum, u don't know me from shit, but just ask someone who does and I'm sure they'll tell u that if I was in your face you'd definitely know it when it happens. If people think that they can come on a forum and call someone a dickhead or tell them to go and get stuffed and think it has no relevance to what happens in the REAL WORLD outside of "Cyber-space" you'd be a fool. See you and u mate in the Kendall, NYE

I'm going with Roddy here Lou, he wanted more info and all his questions were valid. I know on other forums I go to you'd get in alot of trouble if your first post flogged something.

Roddy isnt alone here, this whole thing is dodgy and some questions need to be raised.
im not accusing anyone here but from my perspective it seems it isnt hard to get on a website and make a large purchase of said stubby holders and sell them at a price, with some or hopefully all going to the Marinators account.
Roddy's reply was appropriate because honestly, hes not the only one here that was left scratching their head. definately didnt deserve the reaction he got.
whats the go with them? any pics?

I do not think someone should be able to insinuate they are fund raising for the Mariners or the Marinators on the strength of a promised unknown donation. This is a purely commercial operation and should be seen as such. My concern is that people in the Kendal, would assume that a ridiculous $10 price tag would indicate that it is a fundraising price not a private money making concern. I am sorry Lou but these sort of operations can border on scams. Use the forum without telling any lies but don't provide a lot of information and let the mug public assume that their hardwon $10 is going to a good cause. No thanks. I wait to be convinced otherwise. LET THE BUYER BEWARE.

Nice post Rowdie, tell your mum she did well. you 'didn't know what to think..' ....yep, that sums up the whole thing. I rest my case. Well and truly gone beyond getting in my face to spitting in it! Think you can bring and disrespect my mother and her parenting abilities into this hey?. As I said in the prev. post, u can't come on here and say shit and expect the veil of cyberspace to afford you anonymity or "protection". Whether you post your shit in the Marinators Virtual Pub or say them to my face in a real pub/club, it makes no difference to me. That's because where I come from "them's are fighting word's" and the end result is always going to be the same, game on and over. I'll be f***ed if I'm going to continue playing your chosen sport of linguistic gymnastics, it's a pretty piss-poor "floor performance" with your leotard riding up your arse and you ribbon on a stick is wrapped around your little dick. And F***'in Oath she did well! Gave me a great grounding in both the spoken and WRITTEN use of the English language, unlike your mate. Unfortunately though she couldn't bestow me with f***ing psychic abilities! Looking forward to "mother of all" fireworks on NYE. and Kev what I've said is all I'm going to say regardless of what ever else is posted here. Fingertips have done enough "talking".
