Does anyone know if there have been any arrangements made for Bay 16 to be for Marinators/Mariners fans only ?
I myself am a season ticket holder, and I'm sure that we are allowed to buy semi's tickets before they go on sale to the general public. In saying that, should some type of register be set up so Marinators that are season ticket holders can buy tickets for Marinators that aren't season ticket holders ?

I dont quite understand what problem you are trying to prevent happening here?
Bay 16 is a general admission area so there's no way it can really be policed ticketing-wise anyway, and I think everyone knows that bay 16 is for the marinators. Any wayward newcomers wont want to stay there for long when the rest of the northern concourse is available and they have standing, singing yellow army around them.

if it's a sell-out your worried about, i'd love to share your concern but i can't see us selling near double our record crowd's worth of tickets... if we do then call me a goose.

Just remember though the FFA runs the finals, from the hiring of the venues to the ticketing. Whilst season ticket holders and members should get priority, non-GA season ticket holders are not assured there regular seats.
Of course the FFA could make the GA areas seat assigned for the finals. Let's hope not.

If we play Sydney here I expect at least 17k, a sell-out is very realistic in my opinion! But while the rest of the die-hards who aren't season ticket holders or members are scattered around the ground, just about every marinator is a die-hard, and the kind i would imagine lining up first for tickets. people might miss out on tickets, but it would surely be the part-timers who were just going to come along to have a look anyway.

I think it would be possible to sell out the ground playing Sydney, The media coverage it would will be huge considering most of the papers you get here are sydney papers, i think there would be alot of people trying to go to the game and sydney would send up a really big support group as well it would be possible.

surely they can sell out if against sydney - they'd bring 5000 or 6000? and the coast could get 12,000+ if they coverage was good - awesome, is the record 20,000?. I think the Mariners have been brilliant to do so well so far and am gutted to have missed the whole season so far - I was only there for the final of the pre-season comp v Bling but have managed to score some time off in February and am taking a trip home and am looking to bring 3 others from UK with me plus 3 or 4 other 1st timers from the coast, I simply cannot wait to lose my voice singing and cheering! we'll make the finals for sure, bring it on!

All this finals talk - lets just concentrate on getting there first! We will all be able to get some tickets if we get there!

My concern was that although during the comp, Bay 16 is general admission and you can sit where you want, being the semi's which is run by the FFA, they may impose allocated seating to all areas.
